Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows haha, dont post your fav parts, that will ruin it for people. I have read it but im not that mean
Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Mkay well if they haven't read it I think it's pretty obvious that they shouldn't read this board. It's their choice. I read it already, and I'm rereading it now.
Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows How would people know if this thread was giving info out about the book? They wouldn't unless they came in and read it. The title should say spoilers, so that people are then warned. Loved the book. Some very sad bits in it though, but think that was to be expected. So many unanswered questions at the end though, or is that just me? Will be re-reading it after I have finished my courses for this year. Shall start from the very beginning and work my way through all the books.
Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows put a spoiler warning in the title. anyways, the book was very good and exciting, i am probably going to read it again a few more times
What interests me, is that now Harry has had old Voldy's horcrux removed from him, is he still a parslemouth?
I'd assume not, since Voldemort released his bit of soul from Harry when he "killed" him. I feel a few things were left unanswered, but they weren't that important. But I really wanted to know what happened to George...
Did the names Hugo and Rose signify anything, or were they just random names? I wasn't sure if I missed something. And I wish she'd gone into more details on what had happened to the rest of the characters toward the end.
I think Hugo and Rose are just two very Muggle-esque names. And yeah Ang, it would have been nice to ear more about George.
The book really disappointed me... Things i disliked -Neville didn't kill belatrix. -How does dumbledore defeat grindelwald if grindelwald has the elder wand? -How the hell does crabbe sudenlly become smart and proficient, even if it is in the dark arts? -What the hell was up with Jo making them go camping for 300 pages? -How the book felt rushed -The epilogue -Me owing smelly 100k Things I liked -Dumbledore's past -The kings cross scene -All of my non neville predictions being 100% spot on
I loved kreacher, when he had the frying pan Hated the ending though, I secretly hoped it would be a bit darker.... Overall, the book was very good I read it the night it came out.
i am also glad that jo gave closeure to the end of the series.... THOUGH it could have been a lot longer and more in detial.. and well better.. also wondered. who did lupin & tonks son live with??? it just said he was on the train
Mhm, I wondered that too. I wish she'd gone into alot more detail on what happened to all the other characters at the end besides just the main main characters and neville. We don't hear about Hagrid or George or anything. I predicted that snape would really be dumbledore's spy, but I didn't predict all the Lilly stuff.
