    Daily Dare 2011

    Day 1 Guide:

    Game: Top Chop
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1095

My Advice: Pretty simple game. Hit space bar when line is in center of the power on the side. If its in green, you'll break the board. You need to get to at least the second cement board to clear a score of 1000. It's not that challenging.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 2 Guide:

    Game: Crisis Courier
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=773
    AAA Score Required: 3500

My Advice: Once again another easy game to get this score on. When your a red yooyu you can kill red enemies. When your a ice/blue yooyu you can kill blue enemies. Some of the thigns throughout the level you'll find turn you faerie. You earn 20points for each goodie bag you get with these, but cannot kill any monsters. If you get turned into a mutant yooyu then you can kill every enemy and still gain goodie bag points.

To change what colour you are, click your mouse button.

This game is fairly simple and easy to understand. I think you need a minimum of level 4 to get this score :) There are a few sections where getting the faerie yooyu are bad :p But in other spots, can score you hundreds of points. Trial and error. Won't take long to learn.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 3 Guide:

    Game: Faerie Bubbles
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=358
    AAA Score Required: 1000

My Advice: I HATE THIS GAME! Took me nearly an hour to actually get a good enough score. Uuugh. Glad thats done.
Anyway, I can't give much advice on this. It's not overly hard.. I just suck at it.

    Your best helpers are these:

Thanks to Jellyneo for this information.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 4 Guide:

    Game: Imperial Exam
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=656
    AAA Score Required: 825

My Advice: This is fairly easy game. Use easy difficulty, in your language. And it should be a breeze. Just be careful as sometimes it looks right but they add an extra letter in, or switch the I and E around.

you are on a time limit though... so still have to be fast. I don't really have any other advice for this game?

If you keep playing, eventually you'll get used to the words they use and how they're spelt. Or study up here:

    http://www.jellyneo.net/index.php?go=im ... asic#spell

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 5 Guide:

    Game: Ultimate Bullseye II
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=903
    AAA Score Required: 70

My Advice: One of the easiest games again! So far this Daily Dare is great.

Best advice I can give.. Start the game. Instantly type "catapult" without the commas. Shoot the first arrow. Do your best with it. You will now have a power-up. Hopefully its a fire ring.. Use it. now hopefully there is a balloon or two and the target. IF you can hit one balloon then the target... you've got a score that's only a few away from the target score of 70. Then just hit the target with 3's or 5's and you've won.
Even without the fire ring, with a balloon or two in the game, you'll easily be able to get a score of 70. I got it on my second game :p

Not really good advice... but meh.

For a better guide see here:

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 6 Guide:
    :X:
    Game: Snowmuncher
    http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=412
    AAA Score Required: 3800

    My Advice:
. Go through level 1 eating as much snow as you can taking care not to die and picking all the gems possible.
. On level 2 the strategy is the same as level 1, but you don't have to finish this level. Just let the time run out when you're near the bottom. Repeat this for your next life.
. Now you have only one life left. So start over level 2 and follow the same strategy. If you still haven't reached AAA score pass through level 2 to level 3 and keep earning points.

Type: buuuurrrrrrrrp (That's bx1-ux4-rx8-px1) to prevent from bloating

For a better guide see here:

    http://games.sunnyneo.com/snowmuncher/

Thanks to blackpampa for this :)

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 7 Guide:

    Game: Kou-Jong
    http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=707
    AAA Score Required: 800

    My Advice:
. Play on hard mode. If you play on medium you should be outrageously (What a word! :O) fast.
. You should first clear the tiles at the top and the edges of the board, which are the ones that will liberate more tiles.
. You should earn 275+ points per stage. Take into account that if you have no moves left, you won't loose your earned points. Just reset that stage and give it another shot, and another, and another, and another. The only thing you have to avoid is completing the stage with less than 275 points.
. If you are lost, don't hesitate to use the hint button. It may put you back in the game.

Type: Cyodrake, for an extra hint

For a better guide see here:

    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=kou_jong

Juniors Additional Advice: You need at LEAST 123 seconds left on the bonus score in order to complete this challenge with a score of 800+. (thanks to neoboards for this information!)

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 8 Guide:

    Game: Faerie Cloud Racers
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=586

My Advice: OMG WHAT A HORRIBLE GAME!

Takes a long time to get a score.. It's fairly simple to play though. Just annoying.

Basically, go straight at the faerie, then turn either left or right before they do, but then turn again so you're going the same way you were. When you reach the end, go into their area, keeping to the outside. Go all the way back up the side you started, and back into your area of the map. They'll be boxed in, and eventually crash. all you gotta do then is avoid the obstacles.

The only cheat for this game is "faerie" - It removes all the obstacles ONCE. I think its pointless to be honest. Makes it easier for the other faerie too :p

    As always, better guide here:

    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=cloudracers

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 9 Guide:

    Game: Kookia
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1189

My Advice: YAY FINALLY A SUPER FREAKING EASY GAME!!! This game should only take you a minute max to get a score to beat AAA. It's SUPER easy.

Play on hard.. It's not that hard. Basically, all you gotta do is hover over the yellow kookith, and click the ghost ones. If on slower games (on easy/medium), wait until there are more on screen and get a chain going. That way you get your score multiplied.

However, on hard, they come out fast enough that it should automatically multiply. You get 100 points per kookith, and they usually send out 3 yellow, one ghost, and 2 yellow. A potential score of 100 + 200 + 300 + 400 + 500 + 600. Just for one chain. If you're struggling, ignore the ghost. Just get the chain of yellow.

On hard, you should be able to get a score greater than AAA on the first level (or after the bonus level at max!)

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 10 Guide:

    Game: Chemistry for Beginners
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=239

My Advice: Another reasonably easy game to play :)

Alot of people say start of level 6 as it won't take you as long. I started on level one to get into the swing of the game again, and it only took me about 9 minutes to actually finish with a decent score.

Basically, join the particles or whatever they are so that you get a combination! You're aiming for a certain amount of points using a certain amount of particles.

Only becomes a problem later in the game, the early levels are very easy. IF you clear the board after level 6 I think it is, you get a bonus 5 points. Always a good one to remember!

Jellyneo has a guide if you're still stuck:
    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=chemistryforbeginners

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 11 Guide:

Game: Hannah and the Kreludor Caves
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1252

My Advice: Easy but make sure you have like 30minutes to spare!

This is so easy to get. It just takes a long time to finish each level. I will not be doing a SS for this game. One because I don't know if you can.. And two, because I forgot to record my time and cannot be bothered playing it again. It takes to damn long. It's easy to get this score anyway.

If you do decide to try to SS for this game, use a 30minute time.

Don't think there is much else for me to say about this. Don't hit the robots? Collect all gems before going to the end or you can't finish.

Jellyneo has a guide if you're still stuck:
    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=hatkc

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 12 Guide:

    Game: Hasee Bounce
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=368
    AAA Score: 225

    Some tips:
-˃ Go for the rare doughnutfruits. They worth much more than regular yellow ones.
-˃ Keep in mind that more doughnutfruits you get in one jump more points they worth. The first one has normal value, the second x2, the third x3, and so on. So you have to try to multiply rare doughnutfruits values as much as you can.
-˃ You can extend time by completing the word HASEE in the upper part of the screen. If you get to complete it with the same color you get 40 seconds; 20 seconds in the other case.

Type: doughnutfruit, to reset time bar to full

Be patient as you need some luck in this one. Good luck all!

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 13 Guide:

Game (for english, dutch, portuguese, german, french and spanish): Habitarium
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/habitarium/
    AAA Score: Level 5

    Great guides here:
    http://games.sunnyneo.com/habitarium/
    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=habitarium

Or check the neoforums for more.

Game: (for italian and the rest): Itchy Invasion
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=713
    AAA Score: 1000

    My tips:
-˃ Try to kill all the P3s you can as you will get more bonus points at the end of the stage.
-˃ Green Robot restores your Pest-b-gone to full, and Pink Robot kills all the P3s on screen. Use them wisely.
-˃ If you're overwhelmed by P3s try to shoot the more valuable ones (The ones hanging from hairs usually).

Type: Pest, to restore your Pest-b-gone to full

If you want to make it quickly I'd say go for Itchy Invasion. Habitarium is very glitchy lately, and it's not helping the massive number of users trying to play today.

    (thanks to blackpampa for this!)

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 14 Guide:

    Game: Nova Defender
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1223
    AAA Score: 700,000

    My Advice:

This game at first seemed freaking impossible.. Then I realized you can shoot in multiple directions... Basically, you use the directional arrow keys to shoot in that direction. And your mouse to move around the screen. You will hear a beep sound half way through the level, this means your shield is ready to use. Double click mouse to activate it.

As for levels, the best guide that helped me was someones post on the neoboards. I'll quote that directly. Helped me get the score :D

It is also advised that you use diagonal shooting technique. I.E Up + right, Up + Left, Down + Right, Down + Left etc.

Using this made it possible for me to get the score :D But for those that still can't... SS Time!
    Or try this: http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=novadefender

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 15 Guide:

    Game: The Usul Suspects
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=789
    AAA Score: 550

My Advice: At first this game was a tad hard.. But after about 3 games I got the score I needed.

Be careful of the white ones... And red if you get that far, but you don't really need to get too many of them as you should have a good enough score by the time they start coming. White ones shoot a few bullets at you... I generally stun them by hitting their body, then go up and shoot the hat off so they fall. It's all about timing.

It's a pretty self explanatory game. Left arrow shoots forwards, right arrow throws bottles at the usuls behind you trying to knock you off (the ones you missed as they fell!)

Grey ones are my favourite. 9 points each, and they don't shoot you. Plus they fall fast.. I find the faster the easier.

Anyway, practice and you'll get it.

Oh and when you start the game, first thing you should do is type this:

"lumiwatergun" - Without the commas of course. It will give you one extra life.

    As always, here for more:

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 16 Guide:

    Game: Chia Bomber 2
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=539
    AAA Score: 600

My Advice: Yay for more easy games!

Don't think I need to really explain much here. Move your bomber around with the directions arrows, hit space to shoot a water balloon, and M to lay a mine down.

Typing "Geoffrey" between levels will give you an extra life! THIS IS VERY USEFUL!

IF you finish a level (killing the last mutant chia) while you're on the top row, and hold down right when you start th next level, you'll start in the top left corner instead of bottom left. That way if you hold down space you'll kill off half the mutant chias at the start. It's a good trick.

And for a safety game, plant your mines around you in the top left corner. USe three to block yourself in, and then replace as they get blown up. You do get more points for kills using water balloons though so might be a good idea to try and kill manually.

I think thats it.. Ignoring the score you get in game, for every kill with a water balloon, at the end you'll get 3x that number bonus points, and for every one by a mine you'll get 2x that number. It shows you at the end of your game. Basically, a score of 400ish when you finally die should get you over the 600 total mark and get this Daily Dare done.

NOTE! The SS list for today MAY give you the avatar if you don't already have it. Or if you want it, modify this SS list and use the max score/max time I've put here to ensure you get the avatar.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 17 Guide:

    Game: Dueling Decks
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1182
    AAA Score: 18,000

My Advice: PLAY THIS GAME ON HARD!

It's a fairly easy game. Basically you need to choose the better stat on your card, and hope you beat the card of the opponent. Sometimes its impossible to win.. sometimes its impossible to lose. Depends on the card you play.

    Short helpful information.

Courage: anything 11+ should be good.
Charisma: anything above 10+ should be good.
Intelligence: anything above 110+ should be good.

You'll soon learn what cards are good, what cards are bad.

To end the game, you either have to lose all your cards, or win all their cards. TO GET A HIGH ENOUGH SCORE YOU GOTTA PURPOSELY DELAY WINNING!

Start the game by getting your 5 streak.. You get a bonus for this. As soon as you get your streak, try and lose. Let them get about 15 cards in their hand. You can see this at the bottom of the screen. Once you are around that, get your streak up again and repeat. Once you have 18,000 you can either win, or just lose all your cards. It's not hard.

You get 100 points per win, but if you get a streak you get a bonus for each card. I think it doubles each card u win.

    So, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 then repeat.

For more card information/guide go here:

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 18 Guide:

    Game: Wingoball
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=771
    AAA Score: 800

My Advice: Thanks TNT for yet another easy one!

Your goal is to get the ball which you bowl, to the other side of the page without hitting any of the red gnomes. The green ones bounce the ball back, and anything else will just bounce off of. I think that makes sense?

This game is all about practice. Knowing where to aim the ball to get it across. You get bonus points for getting it in one shot, and you also get more points for how quick you do it. After a few games you should get the hang and idea of it.

For more information and image guides of where to throw the balls, go here:

    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=wingoball

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 19 Guide:

    Game: Dubloon Disaster
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=772
    AAA Score: 900

My Advice: I really dislike this game.

Basically, collect the dubloons and don't hit the mines. Easy right? Wait till on spawns in front of you.. Anyway.

I find it easier to not destroy the mines (you can by getting them to hit each other..). I let them build up on screen by circling the screen. They will get into a smaller circle and hopefully if you keep moving not hit each other. Once you get the maximum number you can just keep circling and moving them around the screen in a group collecting your dubloons. Sometimes you'll have to move them of center to get one.. but not that often.

    But thats my advice!

    Go here for more information!

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 20 Guide:

    Game: Suteks Tomb
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=306
    AAA Score: 3,100

    My Advice: DAMN THIS GAME!

I struggled with this game. I ended up getting lucky with the bonus orange guy's head and a few other of the bonuses. And one massive combo :D

Best suggestion is work from bottom to top. That way, they drop down... Also, its better from my experience to get three in a vertical line rather than horizontal.. Try for vertical first..

I don't really have much advice for this game. Like I said.. I just got lucky.

There are two cheats that might help.. one is critical:

"plzsutekcanihavemoretime" - gives you more time. 30 seconds from memory?
"pyramibread" - gives you a hint if you're stuck for moves. This might help.. but it also takes away a few seconds that could be important. I think you can use this one multiple times too.

    Jellyneo has some more information:

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 21 Guide:

Game: Trouble at the National Neopian
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=371
    AAA Score: 550

My Advice: This game frustrates me... This took me a while to be able to get over 520ish.. Seems everytime I got to 5 gold it would become really quick and BAM! I'd lose...

I just kept playing it and eventually got lucky. Got a orange dude pop up too.. I think he deposited a fair chunk into the bank which was good :D

I don't really know what to say. Once you have 100 coins hit space bar to get it secured as gold. Each gold is worth 100, and it cannot be stolen.

Apart from that, hope you got fast fingers!

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 22 Guide:

    Game: Jumpin' Gem Heist
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1191
    AAA Score: 50,000

My Advice: Score send! This games crap.

Go for the green gems first.. They're worth the most. Also grab the stones, because they're worth 250 points if you already have the maximum amount. Getting a chain of 5 = 1000 point bonus.

Apart from that.. I have nothing. Not a fan of the game. Struggled to do this one. The only good thing about it, is it doesn't take very long each game to complete.

No guides on jellyneo either. Sorry guys.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 23 Guide:

    Game: Wrath of the Snowager
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1269
    AAA Score: 600,000

My Advice: This one is actually fairly easy to do. Takes a while though. Reminds me of the old school "snake" game on my old nokia mobile phone :p Heck.. you can still get it these days.

Basically, grab the treasure, avoid the red -4.. Grab everything else. Hit the chia to make him drop more, or hit space bar to freeze him and then smash the frozen block for more. Should take about 8-10minutes to get the required score.

    Sound = Annoying

Oh and if you see the small snowballs.. GET THEM! They're worth like 27,500 points if playing on hard. And you cannot lose the points from these.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 24 Guide:

    Game: Petpet Cannonball
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=553
    AAA Score: 450

My Advice: I don't like this game. I find the lower levels harder too because its soo darn slow.

Anyway, with some practice this was do-able for me. I think my 4th game I got it.

I guess there are different approaches. Maybe mark a spot, aim for it then just adjust power to suit the weigh of the petpet?

I just randomly fired and managed to get a score that was high enough.

Yea.. this aint very helpful huh?

    Maybe try this:

    Day 25 Guide:

    Game: Turmac Roll
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=366
    AAA Score: 750

My Advice: Pretty easy game really... Alot is luck of what berries you get and 'track', however, its blueorange looking tiny berries, GRAB THEM! They're worth a crapton.

Umm... dont hit anything accept berries! Theres my advice! :p

    Day 26 Guide:

    Game: Kass Basher
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=381
    AAA Score: 875

My Advice: Easiest game so far! This score is possible with on the hard level, with a wind as low as 7 if you can get the kass to bounce.

Basically, hit mouse/space to launch the kass, then hit it with the bat by clicking again. Hold that buton down while it rises, when it reaches the peak, release the button, it will glide down. As it hits the ground click and it will make it bounce.. 5 bounces = maximum.

    Maximum Score = 1185

(unless of course you're lucky enough to get the tree as a bat).

VERY easy game here. And each game only takes a few seconds.

    More info here:
    http://www.jellyneo.net/?go=kass

NOTE: No SS for this game will be made. It's too random of a game and I don't know the mathematics behind it. It's easy legit anyway.

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 27 Guide:

    Game: Neopian Battlefield Legends
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=1221
    AAA Score: 90,000

My Advice: A fairly easy game.. Play it on hard.

Set uo towers to destroy the enemies before they reach the goal. It's VERY time consuming, but VERY easy.

Here are a few guides, however I just put mine anywhere and managed fine. First attempt, maximum score. Easy peasy!

No SS list for this game, so go play it legit!

    Day 28 Guide:

    Game: Goparokko
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=887
    AAA Score: 7,000

My Advice: I really dislike this game... Its a time consuming and annoying one.

Your goal is to get a minimum of 4 coloured blocks together. You can rotate them together. The idea for high points is to get a chain going. Easier said than done. I've got no advice. There are no cheats.. Just practise. This score is acheivable in around 6 minutes, depending on how lucky your blocks and chains are. There are some moves that can score like 5k at once (if you get a chain + a dynamite stick).

    Go here for more info:

    -------------------------------------------------

    Day 29 Guide:

    Game: Extreme Herder
    Link: http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=149
    AAA Score: 150

My Advice: This game isn't that hard to do. Just get the ones closest to balthazar first. Before finishing the level, run to the top let corner incase any new petpets spawn infront of balthazar... That way you can get them before s/he does.

Very little advice this game... I'm super tired.

Junior where do you get these from?

or do you just make them from your personal experience? Just trying to decide whether to legitly do it all (and abigail most of them) or to SS AAA for all of them :p

just have too many assets on the account I don't wanna risk so wanna know if the times are legit or if it's just guesswork?

I play the games legit Rise. I record my time as I go.

So say I play a game, get a score of 1500 in 2 minutes.

    The required score is 1000.
I then work out what time it would take to get 1000. Then use that as my gap, and my score as that gap.

Like I said, see my guide on making a SS list. That is pretty much the same thing...

Anyway, I can't give much advice on this. It's not overly hard.. I just suck at it.

    Game: Imperial Exam

My Advice: This is fairly easy game. Use easy difficulty, in your language. And it should be a breeze. Just be careful as sometimes it looks right but they add an extra letter in, or switch the I and E around.

you are on a time limit though... so still have to be fast. I don't really have any other advice for this game?

If you keep playing, eventually you'll get used to the words they use and how they're spelt. Or study up here:

Not really good advice... but meh.

I hate this game. I found it uber random how the arrows are thrown.

Anyway, I got it, but in the 20+th game. :p

Like I said.. Easiest way is to type catapult first. shoot first arrow. hope for a good power up. Triple arrows is okay too.. Then use powerup and hope next shot has a balloon or two.. If you get that you've basically got your score. If not, end game, try again. :p Considering this takes maybe 10seconds max... can't really complain.

A whole game shouldn't take more than a minute.

    Day 6 Guide:

I couldn't help at all today. Got to go back to work.

My advice to novice players in Faerie Cloud Racers is to stay away from the other faerie as she will crash by herself sooner or later. This way you'll only have to worry for the obstacles.
Be careful after the fourth level as the speed is boosted and turns are more dangerous.

If it's laggy don't worry cause it's not your computer malfunctioning. Just close the game and try again later.

Today's dare was easy :) Beat it on the first level on hard. You are NO match KOOKITHS. PS today was a double dare so make sure you plan accordingly.

Pff. I can't believe AAA's score for Kookia! If my memory doesn't fail, in New Game Challenge you had to make 3ook to beat him.

    Anyway, good for us! ;)
