Shall we put bets on that its NOT a plot? They really should do a plot like every 6 months or so. That will keep people interested and bring people back.
29th February NOTICE! - As you may or may not know by now, we are having some technical difficulties with the site. Unfortunately, this means the surprise we had in store for you will have to be postponed until tomorrow. Sorry for the delay! (King Roo is very unhappy right now. ) Even if it is a plot of some sort, which i'm positive it won't be. They're screwing things up, spastics.
As awesome as that would be, I hear plots take up a lot of time in timing, prepping and running. It's possible they wouldn't get anything else done. Not that it matters anyway.
What else do they do? They focus more on NC items than anything else. Which i can partly understand because they make money from it, but if they made more content such as plots and whatnot they would have more players to spend money on NC cash. I think they're shooting themselves in the foot. The more they focus on NC, the more money they will lose.
I wouldn't say so. If they are focusing on NC (I stopped playing neopets a while back), then it's for a reason. Perhaps there's a continuing demand for it. They wouldn't be coming up with new things unless it was being used and bought. As for what else they do, perhaps check the announcements. I don't work there, but I would imagine that a lot of their time is taken up by a myriad of different projects, depending on the departments. Something like writing a plot is a major task that requires a lot of time allocated by many departments, if not all. I do agree that running plots would be a good way to generate more cash however, especially with limited edition NC items. Wouldn't touch em, but a lot of people would. Especially kids with their parents credit card. If that's how NC cash works. *shrugs*
