Treasury Secretary is trying to pump out two trillion dollars to help stop the up-and-comming depression people say we're going straight into.

Do you think we are entering a new era of financial ruin, or is it all just paranoia?

How would you propose fixing this issue?

The likleyhood of the percent of people in our population that are depressed rising is very obvious.I mean look what happened during the stock market crash?Lots of suicides..We ARENT at that point though,,we just have the worst constant economic status in the history of our country right now with no signs of improving, which is enough to make that percent of people depressed OR very depressed but not exactly suicidal...

So the bottom line is the increased number of depressed people in this country is mainly due to suffering economy, living on a budget or bankruptcy can bring most people down. Also the downfall in economy results in an increased crime rate. which adds even more depression to victims and victims family/friends..

~_~ I'm not meaning emotionally depressed. I meant more towards that economic thing you mentioned: Do you feel we're past an economic recession, and are going towards depression?

The only reason we're having to work harder, is because we're not making as much real money as they are.
Take a stroll through your local market. Basic items such as milk, cheese, cereal... much more expensive than they have been, yeh? It's more than just fuel.

Everything is costing more, now, because our dollar is worth less than our penny. :\
