So basically.. linking newbies to shops to make things easier is taking advantage? Im never helping some1 again.
It's obviously not a scam or TNT wouldn't allow malling. It's just a group of people with large shops with tons of items grouped together.
I think it's a little disingenuous but definitely not scamming, and most things people do on np could be considered disingenuous anyway. Sniping codestones off the sw b/c someone mispriced them or paying a lower price than is fair on an ub could also be considered disingenuous, but everyone's going to do them.
Its not scamming because you are telling people up front your prices. You offer them a large selection of stock, and in return, they pay extra for the large amount of choice and the time it saves them. And if you consider linking to other shops scamming, then so is having little "affiliates" buttons/images on petpages.
Yeah, but I understand what they mean, newbies dont know how to use the shop wiz so they buy those overpriced items. I don't buy from malls nor do I run a mall so it doesn't matter to me either way.
I dont consider malling scaming, how else would noobs and people be able to complete quests? You cant use Shop wizard when your on a quest. Some users under the age of 13 cant go on the boards for help.
They could make a neofriends account and use the wiz in the top right corner...it's how I do my quests.
Of course it isnt scamming... or tnt wouldnt allow it. I agree with Rundownandy + not everyone knows about this site.
I dont think it is /scamming/ but i do think they are stupidly over priced. i saw one with dung for 1000np because it was a wearable. its giving newbies the wrong idea, wasting their np and then when they start a shap chances are it will be overpriced aswel. id love to start a REAL mall. with good accurate prices.
it is not scamming ... and for newbies, they should educate themselves on how to use the sw or the tp and when you have a quest log onto another account buy the item and transfer it to the acc with the quest. People who buy from malls are people that are lazy or ignorant. Its got to be like real life here a person normally research an item before they buy it to make sure they get it at a good price. So in the end malling is not a scam and the newbies should figure it out. lol..
i consider it scamming its unfair that just because people have shop sizes 500+ that people can easily find their shops and buy items. yes it costs like 25mill to get to that size, but once you are at that size mallers average like 2mill/week and all they gotta do is keep their shop stocked. kinda cheap to make 2mill a week and only need to spend a couple hours every 1-3 days to restock shop and you can use a low freeze rate program to do that for u anyways
