Does anybody get RANDOM friend requests?

but ive gotten a total of 7 friend requests for no apparent reason from all newbs

But hey. Maybe im just good looking..

I used to get a lot of random friend requests from newbies when I donated a lot of stuff to the Money Tree at once. I don't donate anymore so I guess that's why newbies don't care for me anymore

 

I always get friend requests when I have a lot of items in my trades, mainly baby PBs.. noobs love baby pbs I guess!

 

Yes, sometimes. I never accept though. These kind of requests sort of freak me out. If they really wanted to be neofriends, shouldn't they at least chat and exchange a few neomails first?

I wonder where people get my username in the first place. It's not like I do anything or go to the neoboards to make my username public for others to see, so how do these people get it. Random search?

 

Usually I get them from being on the high score table, or having an expensive trade up.

 

You can get them from being a Notable Neopet, donating to the Money Tree, having an expensive TP lot, being on a HST, chatting on the boards, big or expensive shop, etc...basically ways to get your username out there.

 

I just had a 9 yearer talk to me.. wow... i am humbled.

I think they usually get my name from the msg boards whenever I lend items.

I never accept unless they send some sort of mail.

Besides, who really talks to their neofriends? I have a list of 15 that I don't remember ever talking to.

nah it never happened to me tho, only wen i am in a guild thats the only time i get friend request

 

Yep. Usually when my pet gets notable neopet, i am flamed with random noob friend requests.

 

I get them all the time. I give them the standard "I cannot accept NF requests outside of my guild because of some of our activities" It always amazes me when they argue. Really? Is that going to make me want to be your friend? :nope:

I've only noticed getting those after being active on neoboards. Not that I bother discussing there too deeply, afterall they're mostly full of noobs and people wasting their time pissing off noobs :nope:

 

yeh i get them, and random battles, and random guild requests

 

yeah, i've had heaps lately.
i've accepted them and they all seem to know each other.
i talked to them for a while, but i don't bother now, lol.

They make the neofriend request and even don't neomail me their name or something else Once I accepted all people... now I've deleted them and refuse random requests :nope:

However since I don't post in the boards anymore I'm not receiving them!

 

i have gotten two on my new account and have absolutly no idea why. it kinda freeks me out like they are spying on me or something weird

 

i like getting them, i used the mass neomailer to send neomails saying "Have a nice day " just so i could get them xD
