Does anyone know a free 3d modeling software

no, i am not talking about a crack or torrent, i mean one that is freely distributed by the maker. i have tried rhino 4.0 and i really like it, so anything like that would be good. btw, i have already tried maya, and i dont like it, the watermark is really annoying and the renderings are pixelated

blender is supposed to be good, from what I have been told. It's both free and open-source.

but i cant create the chicken really hard.

 

Well... Milkshape 3D has a 31 day free trial...
Can't really think of anything too good that's free... the saying "You get what you pay for" applies here.

I use blender and I'm completely satisfied with it. It's a bit complicated in the beginning but if you use some tutorials, you'll get better.
