im sick of some people pretending they know something about a sport just to get points. anyone else agree?
No. Honestly, I don't agree with you at all. The beauty of the internet "2.0", as it has come to be known, is that it's all user-driven. You can go and find the opinions of 100 different people and they may be all different than yours, as well as much of the content is completely user supplied (wikipedia, youtube). By saying that someone shouldn't post just because they don't agree with you is a very narrow-minded view of things, in my humble opinion. However, I'm not going to say that you can't have your own opinion, that would be hypocritical to a whole new level. As Voltaire said, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
that isn't what he's saying hally... he's saying that in most of the posts here people just kinda like to pretend they know what's going on in sports, when they really have no clue
I guess I see what you guys are saying. If it's spam, I'm against it. But if it's something like "I love the [insert bad sports team here], they rock", I'm all for it.
Re: Dont answer questions about sports you know nothin about Don't mind me asking but, what makes you think that some people don't know what they are saying? I mean, how do you know that they are pretending to know?
exactly... i see noobs posting "oh i wish i played that" all over its actually pretty funny reading their ridiculous posts
I agree cmt, it's also rather disappointing trying to get serious with someone when they're not even having a clue on what's going on...
