I have two separate lists, one for using Neopets normally and one for "semi-legit" restocking. Use of the Element Hiding Helper is required. I think that it is impossible to detect what images You block and what You see.. So , I think, You can't be frozen for using Adblock..
Yea, TNT says its icable, but... they can't detect it, thats why no ones every been iced for it (unless they are stupid, and say they use adblock list to help rs on the neobaords, in which case the guys an idiot, lol)
It can be detected, but I doubt it is. Adblock prevents the image from loading (which is why it speeds up page load times) so they could very easily log whether you loaded the item images or not. But tbh, there's a very very very low chance that they do that. So you really don't have to worry about it.
Awesome Believe it or not, I remember when ads first started coming on neo. There was a huge uproad about it, and going back even 5+ years ago people left the game over all the ads (not nearly as much as there is now). Also people adblocked back then, and in all this time, I've never heard of anyone getting frozen, just heard that it's against the rules
I had a friend who did get iced for add-block... Not sure how they got caught.. but yeah.. Might have slipped up in a neomail or board.. However, I know other people who have been using it since the adds came out and been fine. I think its like anything... depends how you use it
If your using a firefox browser, you can get a free addblocker from them as well. thats what i use and is very good
