Yup.. that's right, at about 11.30 PM in Adelaide, Australia, we experienced a small Earthquake / Earth Tremor!!

It really is the beginning of the end.

Luckily for me, it was only very small.

Here is a write up of it:

Wow Junior, you're an Aussie! :O
Yea the earthquake was in Adelaide I think, not very big though. Its pretty abnormal considering we never get them in Australia

Well, surprise surprise! I didn't feel a thing.

We had two last year, pretty small ones. Something to write home about, only because they're so rare.

Lol yeah, for people who have never felt them, it is weird. I have a friend from from australia who was in cali for a pretty big one and he freaked out lol. He was like yelling "what do I do, what do I do?" then he jumped under a table lol. I just sat on the couch haha

Hahaha.... Playstation 3 + Call of Duty + Surround Sound + Earth Quake = Awesoem 4D Experience !!

Haha.. Hiding under a table won't save you!! Door Frame!!

I think I'd freak out if it were something bigger... Not the nicest feeling in the world.

Apparently Australia has at least 1 per year... just so small it goes unnoticed most of the time. Except this one :p

Lol, to be honest, seeing how they shake the walls of the house, if it is big enough to knock something off the ceiling, your best bet is to run to an open area outside lol

    Yea some crazy distance :p

I'll driving about 300km in the opposite direction in a few days :p

As for the earth quake... Running outside sounds good.. but a natural instinct for a person is to hide in a place they feel safe :p Which is supposed to be there own home... I wonder how many actually do/would think of running outside?

(It would also depend on the area you lived... sometimes outside may be more dangerous >:)

Lol yeah, very true, a lot of people wouldnt think about it lol, especially in places that rarely get earthquakes. I mean for me, I have probably been in 50 earthquakes I could feel, so I think I have the instinct, I wouldnt try to hide in my house, although it is made to withstand earthquakes haha

It really does seem as though the world is coming to an end...so many natural disasters in so little time...it is quite unnerving

    Ours wasn't exactly a disaster :p

You could of easily confused the one here for a thunderstorm or really good surround sound (like me :p)

But I know what you mean. Volcanoes, Earthquakes... EVERYWHERE!

In glad I live in Florida, we've never had an earthquake (at least during my lifetime)
If one were to ever happen, I would probably shit myself and not have any clue what to do.

What does it feel like when an earthquake happens?
