Elfenlied?

Anyone here have watched Elfenlied?

I recently finished it, and I got to say, it was one heck of a ride.

Some people say its too violent.

Some people say its too high in hentai/ecchi content.

To me, this was a moving story of a girl all alone in the world with no-one to rely on,
But I got to say, the ending left me wondering what happened >_>

Anyone watched this anime?

 

Not yet... but I want to watch it in a couple of days... would be nice to see some more oppinions, if it's worth watching...

unfortunatley, ive never heard of that movie, but then again i hardly come out of my room xD

 

All these somewhat useless comments aside ( no offense guys, you know i love you! >_> ), i watched it, and i really liekd it alot, i needed some tries to get used to the gore @ episode 1, but after that, all went well, and, it was a really nice anime! Even though usually i find 13 episodes ( +1 random-ish episode ) somewhat not enough, it was ok. And yea, did kept me wondering what happened at the end. You should read the manga to, they go more further in there

it was soo good i kinda cried at the end because ALL good/decent anime are short and sweet

I did. It was awesome. I personally love Lucy more than Nyu. I like people that are cold. B)

 

I started watching it. So far I quite like it!

 

Gravedigging aside.. I've watched this anime a few times through and it still hasn't lost it's charm. Lucy's evil emo eyes, people getting killed with ballpoint pens, just about every character having major problems in their life.. Yess it's quite a ride. I prefer Higurashi when it comes to gory mystery anime but I still love the flashback episodes in Elfen Lied. Creepy, cool, sick and sad at the same time

It was extremely well done all comments aside. I read somewhere that there was possibly a movie that takes place after the series in production. I wonder what happened to that.

 

I quite liked it. Personally I would have liked more violence and blood and what not....like Tokko has...but then this has much better animation than that anime.

The storyline is awesome too....but nothing in the anime ever really topped the opening of the first episode with her just thrashing everyone...naked. That was wicked!
