Ever got attached to your lab pet?

I ALWAYS DO!
I mean, I looked at neocolours more than once to decide which neopets I like best so maybe I can get them in the future.
Normally I won't find any of them cute. However once my lab rat turns into one, I suddenly don't want to zap it anymore
For example, My yellow aisha turned tyrannia, and it looks kinda cute, and the collar is pretty fuzzy.
But...he's going to get morphed soon so boo

 

I <3 my lab pet...or at least I did until it turned blueberry and then lime... XD
I hope that someday soon it will get zapped into something much cooler...or at least something that does not look like a lumpy green pillow...

 

nah, he's just supposed to gain lots of strength and hit points. then I'll morph him into a draik

 

I get attached only if I came up with the name. I don't get attached to the pet as much as the name lol. I have such a hard time letting go of them sometimes that I end up GUPing them a few times after ugly species changes until I finally give up and blame the pet for my bad lab luck and toss them. XD

 

I'm so attatched to mine, i still zap him like everyday but no matter what he is like even if he's a blue chia he's still my favourite

 

Yea. I keep having to get a new lab pet cause I decide that I like what I have. My first lab pet I ended up making him magma, and my second lab pet just became a mutant koi (which is ugly but I really wanted a koi so I'm keeping it as is and eventually painting it). So I have to keep creating new pets, which gets a little annoying.

 

I've gotten to the point where I pound surf to find a new labbie. Why spend forever coming up with a name when there are plenty of perfectly good WNed pets floating around the pound? And that way I also don't get as attached to them and just put them back if they zap ugly.

 

I did that with my latest one, because I was looking for an avie pet.

 

Yeah! That's me too! However, soemtiems I zap them while waiting to paint/morph it into something else, and they always turn into something cute xD

 

I wish I had that kind of luck Mooie!!

 

ohh it's such a once in a blue moon thing I always get stats/gender/no change. Maybe once a month for color/species changes? Something like that ><

 

theres only been one that i actually got really attached to, and it was because of bd stats more than its color

it became a permanent part of my account when i usually trade off or pound lab pets

 

I have an Island Kyrii....fell in love with it so I made a new lab rat xD

 

I'll rephrase what I said earlier. I'm very attached to my lab pet, I just don't zap it for species changes, so I won't stop until I feel like I'm ready to morph him into a draik, and then I just won't use the lab map anymore because all of my pets will be complete

But I'm sure I would get attached to a lab pet.

I usually lab pets I'm already attached to so when they turn into something that I really like, I just become even more attached! xD

 

Ohh well I get what you mean ^^ My lab rat was my very first neopet also, so D: though I decided to pound transfer it, big mistake XD and the person wanted my krawk ... it was a shadow peophin ;_;

 

I hate it when my pet turns into a nice colour or species because I do get a little attached sometimes.. And the purpose of me buying the lab ray was to train my pet xD So to make it worth it, I force myself to zap it once again =(

 

when I make a pet I know what pet/colour I want it to end up being, even for a lab pet. I'm surprised that other people don't do that
