Firefox refresher(reload every) addon guide(avvy+RE)

Ok this is a guide on a refresher addon for your firefox, useful to get Avvies or Random events (my third guide)

DISCLAIMER : I have heard of many not getting freezed for using this, key word is MODERATION, abusing this is as good as getting the TNT to wave their banstick!

1.Get firefox
Go get firefox at http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/

2.Get reloadevery @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/115



restart firefox

3.Getting reloadevery to work
when your firefox is restarted , try right clicking in the browser space after u enter your desired page, you should see the following menu when u scroll to Reload Every



Just choose one of the premade refresh timings and click enable, everything else is AUTO

I used this to get the snow beast on my old old account, also works with grarrl keno...open up 5 tabs at 2,3,4,5,6 seconds respectively.

 

Damn. I discovered this the other day and was contemplating doing a guide about it. Oh well yours is probably better anyway. I have heard that the freeze rate is rather highly because it just refreshes the same page over and over?

 

no one is telling you to run it overnight , u can do this hourly to be safe

 

Yeah I think I'll do that. But I heard that even if you just run it for like 3-4 hours it still a chance of getting frozen.

 

the idea is not exactly to cheat, if u cheat with it u are bound to get frozen

i think the key is to automate tedious tasks as though a human would do it, a human is more likely to refresh 1 hour tops, this makes it less suspicious

Isn't this thread like, three years old? But anyway, since then, Firefox has changed, and so has the features that come with auto-refresh plugins (I don't know if the one mentioned is still active--you can probably search for a better one). Mine can randomize the refresh rate (for example, anything between 2-30 seconds), duration (stop after 1 hour), automatically detect content change.

I think the purpose is to automate a repetitive task (refresh for 3 hours at that Game Graveyard for the avatar). Or, if you have two computer screens, you can set it up so that one of the windows refreshes at random intervals to watch for shop restocks while you do bigger and better things (like going on NF).

 

its working for me..but I think I might only stay on it for a bit..I have to much to lose on neo
