Ok so I got a usb harddrive. I was wondering if I installed my game (Americas Army) and played it from the USB hard drive would the hardware ban still be in effect?

If your HD is hardware banned ,

the serial numbers of your hard drive , as well as your MAC address(the identifier of your network interface card )

    will be banned.

Im not sure if you can get away the hard drive check by that, but you still need to change the MAC setting.

See below to find the answer :

Well...Punkbuster is a tough punk, really.

    So ...
you haven't tried your removable HD for any results ?

If you have to change any hardware , i suggest changing only your HD will be enough to resolve the problem ?
