As an avid food experimenter I am always looking for new foods to try at Uni (have a kitchen might as well use it), so I was thinking we could have a thread dedicated to user's favorite foods and recipes of these foods. Just post ingredients, or links to dishes that you have tried in the past and have enjoyed. Anything goes, appetizers, drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic), main dishes, side dishes, desserts. Look forward to everyone's suggestions and recepies. I will start off by adding my favorite pie!

    Pumpkin Pie

    Ingredients
1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
    3/4 cup white sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    2 eggs
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin pure
1 (12 fluid ounce) evaporated milk

    Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.

Yes! I'm not the best at getting my point across but that was my main idea. The recepies don't even need to be specific just you can use rough estimates.
