Is disabling Javascript a banable offence? Because i have previously been frozen on about my last 10 accounts, for 'abing', even though i havent even touched one yet.

But i HAVE been disabling javascript, so would this be the root of my problem?

I don't think so. I have javascript disabled, and haven't gotten frozen yet.

What is the benefit of disabling javascript? Do the ads not load or something?

Disabling javascript will make the haggle alert popup not work, instead it will go directly to the haggle screen.

I don't think it should be bannable, I'm pretty sure a lot of people turn javascript off. Not just for neopets, but for other sites too. I actually heard it was recommended to keep it off unless you absolutely need it.

If they ban me for it, then I will definitely be emailing them about it. Its my browser, they can't tell me what I can and cannot do with it.

    Re: FF

How do they know if you're using it to cheat? If I leave it on while RSing, it takes waaaay too long for the pop-up. Up to 30seconds, by then everything is gone. I don't think turning it off counts as 'cheating' if its causing problems for you when its on.

And what if you have it turned off for security reasons? How would they tell if you're cheating or not?

Well, I'm not 100% sure about this, since the guy who told be was abit vague... But he ensured that you can be iced for it. I don't know how, but it is cheating, since you're using a tool to give you an unfare advatage over other restockers

Hmm... i never even thought of turning Javascript off. But I can see TNT getting pissed for working around something that EVERYONE else has to go through.
