Found something like Adobe Photoshop except it's freeware

    Lots of tutorials and i will work with this until i have something better for me. Try it ;)

    I know but Paint.net has more potential than Photoshop. It's proven.

    The downside is that it's limited to functions at least some of them.

    Well i knew someone will ask that question sooner or later ...but check the Paint.net Forums...they even created a plugin to open Photoshop files ;)

    That doesn't mean it's better, or that it has more potential than PS. At all.

    They needed to create a plug in to import photoshop stuff to make it better :p
    Photoshop rules no matter what.

    U can get a 30 day trial of photoshop but there is ways of getting full but not allowed to discuss that :cry:

    Uhh... being able to get something for free does not mean that it is freeware.

    I don't think that Paint.net will have the potential that photoshop does. Photoshop has too many different functions, and if a freeware program could come out with even half the features that Photoshop has, I would be amazed. I'm sticking with photoshop, people will find Paint.net usefull if they don't want to "pay" for photoshop.

    I got PS CS3 from a friend...he let me borrow his supposedly legit CD.

    I love it for short files but Photoshop would take forever. I use Imesh for massive files. That is unless you rip limewire pro off limewire ^^ Ooh the irony.

    I just downloaded this...

    I feel so Noobish

    I seriously dont know what im doing :p

    Ive never used any imaginc programs before... except for like the little simple ones that come with your camera and stuff

    I don't get the layering thing :oops:

    When I make a new layer the old layer dissapears... and I click and theyre both gone

    I need to find a tutorial :p
