I wasn't sure where to put this topic, so I hope it's ok here. I was just wondering, when your account gets frozen for "cheating" or using a "cheat" program.. do they freeze it right away.. or does it sometimes take a few days to notice or something? Just wondering because I used the ABer a few times, and also the AAer, but all my accounts were frozen the other day, and I wasn't running anything. I was just surfing the neoboards. :? Oh yea.. and even my account that was registered under a different email account was frozen. :x
Wow, you got chain frozen! They just check your I.P adress and any accounts accessed by it are frozen. I guess that it does take a while hudging by what you've said, maybe a human needs to comfirm the bots (thats detected you) decision.
about the diferent email addresses, you wer on the same PC, so the IP adress would be the same. thats how they chain freeze peoples accounts.
im scared, I use programs with a dummy account but, If they would catch me, they could freeze all my accounts
Using programs is obviously not a bright idea if you value your account. The sad part is that I was just experimenting. I earned abouot 2.5mil legitly, had the lab map, and really loved my pets!
thats why i use a side. because my ISP gives me dynamic IP's it changes every day or so. so i figure as long as i only use one account during the time of one IP, its much safer than otherwise
That's also why I'm afraid to use an ABer program. I have yet to "purchase" one from the download section... I'm a bit of a chicken
So do anyone know of how to hide one's IP? Because i couldnt use firewall, if i use i couldnt access some of the webpages in neopets.
Best way is to use a proxy. Unfortunately, they slow down your internet connection but at least your IP will be disguised.
Any proxy will work? and where can i find a good one?...I might even be able to use them to get around the stupid game blocking programs on my schools computer network. edit: Actually....what about using my regular internet for one account and using firefox for a side account...will that kind of work as a proxy?
