    GOOD LUCK PANDO!
You want to go to Stanford because that was the name you mentioned in your post. And not any other.
    Have fun

Good luck pando! Luckily for me I only applied to one school and I got in lol So I don't really know what it's like to fill out like a dozen college applications. But good luck anyway, it'll be worth it!

in canada we just go onto to a application website where it has all the university's listed with all of their programs, select what we want to apply for, fill in personal info and submit it. it probably helps that we are a smaller country with less university's, but it's much easier than in the states. our admission is based solely on marks unless you are applying for top programs in specific fields where they require interviews or written essays etc...

You may think it sucks now but once you get in all the hard work pays off. You just have to grin and bear it, we all go through it.

    unless you move to Canada

Just bamboozle them with crap about making the world a better place, finding a career, not just a job, learning to be yourself the best you can by helping others and studying in the best environment possible. Talk about how the program that you're applying for suits you perfectly, and you're glad that you found it, you can't think of a better place - not only to learn - but to grow and mature as a person. Throw in some lines about being accustomed to being the best - as you are clearly a great sutdent and perfect to be there: universities whould be fighting tooth and claw for the privilege of having you as a student. Any extracurriculars that the school has that you're even THINKING or MAYBE going for - mention them. Play them up, because Unis are always looking for new members. I am still convinced that I got into my Uni partly because of the fact that I told them that I wanted to be on the skate team. Any extra currics you had in high school: play those up as well, mentioning expanding on them and such. Talk about your goals, and how Stanford will help you closer to your dreams.
The other reason that I got in is because I told them that I wanted to be a patholosist, and we currently have a pathologist-shortage.

Just sling some bull and dress it up with pretty adjectives. That's all.
    Best of luck!
