I used to have one, but I don't remember it anymore >< I want to play some GBA games. Does anyone know of a GBA emulator for PC? Thanks! I'll google some more later. Just want to see if any of you have anything to recommend.
Do you want one that you can save at any point, regardless of a game-set-save-point, or is it fine without it? The one I've mentioned before (no$gba) can play DS and GBA games. I'm not sure of the save capabilities it has for GBA, but for DS it doesn't have any image saves (anywhere), but instead you have to save in the game, then when you close the emulator it'll save into a save file (it has to close, it wont save if it crashes; i learned that the hard way) What I've heard about it for gba is that it's able to link multiple games, like legend of zelda four swords, but I haven't tried it so im not completely sure. Here's the link for it, hosted by a website so they toss in a bunch of junk promoting themselves, but you can just ditch all that. http://rapidshare.com/files/159408380/N ... yType_.rar I'll go test it out and see what happens =] Personally, I used to use VBA, it seemed to work great for me =/ I guess it's just kind of the user-preference-and-experience issue just like vista xD
VBA's improved a lot in the last few years... If you're only looking for GBA games, VBA is the best there is out there. Not much cheat support, true, but it's fast and has the best graphics. For DS as well, NO$GBA. I think I still have that somewhere on my laptop now.
For the emulators does it let you play any gba game because there are a few i want to play like golden sun and a few other rpgs
darkangelboy, yes, that's the point of a GBA emulator. You can use them to play GBA games on your computer. It's illegal to find/download gameboy ROMs to games you haven't actually paid for, but it's completely legal if you're making a backup of a game you already own.
hmm ok i see so i went to the vba thing or whatever but i could not find a dl link can anyone tell me where i can find it ?
I haven't used an emulator for quite a bit, but I remember using something called KGB. That worked really well .
