I have a week to finish a poster/booklet on Global Warming. Anybody know any useful sites that I can use? And whether or not I should do a poster or a booklet? :?
In my experience, a poster is easier because you don't have to include as much conent and can spread everything out more. And include more and bigger pictures, which in turn means even less actual relevant conent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming
Thanks for your suggestion, I forgot about Wikipedia XD I want to see other people's decision before I start putting my information finally.
A poster is easier to do well. You can just open up photoshop, do some very basic graphics, add some rudimentary text information, and youre done.
MSPaint works well too. Just use Google Images and find some good pictures to slap on there and call it good.
I always use Wikipedia and Google 8) The poster will probably be A3 size, since A4 is too small and A2 is too big.
Yeah, but summarising is the hard part. I have to change it around so people can understand what it means -__________-
If you're just making a poster/booklet, you don't exactly need extensive amounts of research. I would suggest watching "An Inconvenient Truth" for inspiration
Do a poster, much less trouble than doing a booklet. And I'm sure Google has much information on global warming. Anyway good luck on it!
A lot of people seem to be encouraging "Less work is best" but in my opinion (and learning from the experiences of others), large pictures and only a small amount of informative text does not get you far with teachers. If, however, the objective is only to get it done, rather than get it done with a good mark, i suppose a poster with large pictures is ok.
