Does any one know if I will lose my bookmarks/favorites if I uninstall the current version of firefox so that I can go back to firefox 3.5? If so, is there an easy way around this?

I don't know if you'll lose them or not, but it's pretty easy to just create a backup of your bookmarks...

Just press Ctr+Shift+B and create a HTML backup of your bookmarks and save the file somewhere you'll be able to easily find it again. Once you revert to whatever version of Firefox you plan on using, just do the same thing but import the HTML file and you should have all your bookmarks back. If it doesn't work, you can just open the saved file in Firefox and, one at a time, open each page and re-bookmark it.
