I finished college in December but stuck around because I had an internship in the area (as well as a boyfriend and some very good friends). Every year, the graduating seniors (us this year) flood the quad at noon after classes are over on the last day of school. Everyone has a bottle of champagne that gets shaken up and opened at the same time so that everyone gets coated with champagne. Then we blast music and run around and dance and act like crazy people. When the champagne bottles are empty, you have to throw them hard at the ground so that they stand, wide end up, in the ground. It was just a very nice experience to have with all my classmates and somewhat nostalgic cause you get to see people that maybe you haven't seen in a while. We've also got a week of drunken debauchery coming up, but that's not really tradition..that's just normal. I was wondering if the rest of you, who are graduating or not, have similar traditions at your high school or uni.
Every year all of the grads stay after the ceremony until five in the morning. It's not optional, and basically it's just an excuse for the school to detain the seniors and make sure they don't drive home drunk.
Well, every year we dress up as something, then throw candy at out school and throw water at all the other students. When we graduate, we drive around to all of the students of the class' houses and stay there for 15min. at each house, get totally wasted. And we have endless rules on the trip: We get this "hat" when we graduate, and everytime we drink a case of beer, puke, fall asleep, jump in the habour etc. we get something done to our hats (cut something out of it, write something on it..) I'm looking forward to this "trip" SO MUCH Can't wait.
Well I officially just finished up high school and we gonna have a prom and some robe festivity with prizes and awards. So nothing special really. :maha:

In high school i think the grad class hops on a bus and goes to an amusement park. Not sure if anyone at my college does anything exciting. Probably just go out to the bars and get way too drunk. Which is pretty much the only thing to do in this god forsaken town. That and online games.
It's tradition for graduating classes at my place to leave their mark on the high school. We plan to paint one giant mango tree blue, or chop it down. Another class in our school plans to steal all the bathroom bidets in the high school. I personally want to leave a trail of crap on our universal hallway.
We made our teachers strip. They wouldn't allow us making the school dirty with water or other things, so it was the next best thing. Nobody got physically hurt in the process, but maybe some did mentally
