Gravedigging Clarification

    for me as long as the issue was unresolved and you have something GOOD to add to it... its fine with me but hey im just a lvl 5 lol.... best left for a mod to answer this i guess

    It'd better be amazingly useful.
    Gravedigging is more like when people post spamy-ish posts in old thread.

    It all depends on the thread.
    99.9% of the time, its gravedigging is bad.

    If its a simple question thread, there's no point in gravedigging since the original author most likely had the question answered already or doesn't care anymore.

    If its a guide, the original author is likely to be inactive (if the thread is several months/years) old. If the author is still active, I'd say its ok to gravedig as long as the actual guide is still relevant (no point in reviving a useless guide).

    Basically, it all depends on the nature of the thread and who the thread applies to.
