So, ok you do not want adverts while you're RSing, AB-ing or just to speed up the loading time of neopets/any other page.

there are 2 MAIN methods I will teach you here.

ok, for the first method,
this is called the browser method. Because you need an internet browser to actually view the page and stuff, this method uses the browser to block these ads.

Internet Explorer
this browser is full of problems. and i do not see why you are actually using it.
well, blocking ads for IE...
one way is to download a internet explorer ad blocking add-on called IE7Pro, as the name suggests, it's for IE7.

Firefox
ah, this browser, my favourite.
ok for firefox, the fav. method of blocking ads is,
download the extension called 'adblock plus'

if you want to adblock anything on a page, just right click and select Adblock Image/whatever.

Safari

now the second method, called the host file method.
for this, you have to edit a host file.

for different platforms of windows :

Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts

Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
