My ranking for popular browsers :
    BEST Firefox
    2nd Safari
    3rd Opera
    LAST Internet Explorer

firefox is the best, with great extensions and stuff, like Adblock Plus, getEmbed and cool stuff.
If you are frequenting weird sites with lots of objectionable images or swf clips, firefox is for you.
Of course, firefox should be full optimized by the downloading of extensions.
these stuff are your best friends :D
especially when you wish you could download stuff from youtube or megaupload,
there are extensions for all those.
and firefox is designer-friendly, meaning is an eye-candy browser for people who design.

    Safari comes in next.
In fact, i am using it right now to type all this out.
It’s user-interface’s elegance and sleek-ness is just perfect
    perfect,
best for web designers, css friendly, and does not show those dotted lines when you click a link,
which are, for a perfectionist designer, disgusting.
safari does not have much extensions, but ad and content blocking extensions can be downloaded from sites.
safari is the love for designers.
    i repeat,
    the love.

    Opera.
    The rising browser.
After a recent update, opera’s usability has gone up.
it supports more javascript and css functions.
However, it’s UI look is bulky and, just spaceless.
but watch out for this. it’s an upcoming and improving browser.
keep an eye out for it

    Internet Explorer.
    Bleaugh.
    Designers’ worst enemy.
    Css enemy
    Javascript enemy.
IE does not support the *:hover function which many interactive sites integrate in to it.
clunky and slow and vulnerable to viruses and unwanted ads and popups.
but comes pre-installed on most computers.
go on, download another browser, and get used to it not being Internet Explorer.
    It’s for your own good.

    Google Chrome
    A relatively new browser.
Claimed to be faster than firefox, and, safer than firefox, it grabbed my attention, and thus i downloaded it.

With a cooler address bar, and a cool default homepage when you just download it, it’s cool to see how cool this can get. Cool!
    I said 5 cools.
    Now 6.

It’s currently in the beta version.
Another thing to note is that it’s open source (?) and eventually addons and updates will be provided by the community and not only google’s coders.

However, i dont like the cheesy look of GChrome, but i like my firefox look better :D
haha, so now, will GChrome be a new breakthrough in web browsers, or will it fall behind?
    Who knows :/

Haha, that is the end of my little browser review.

Personally, I do not use Google Chrome much. But, I shall add a review I did of it about 5 months ago.

I like the sleek, sharp design and interface of google chrome, however, the actual program sucks IMO.

It crashes at least once every 15 minutes, on a good day.

I love firefox. Relatively fast + customization = :D. Not only does it have the option to customize, it has a large user base and provides a lot of themes, add-ons, etc...so not only can you customize, you have a lot of options as to what you want to customize and how. :)

I haven't used opera or safari.

Internet explorer just plain old sucks. It won't even update on my computer, so I think I'm still on IE5 or 6. Not tabbed, doesn't even support transparent images lol. ;/ Crashes a lot too, just funny how my bro claims it is faster. Only reason I don't uninstall is because he uses it lol.

I guess the next question is: What version of Firefox does everyone like? 2 does not share security settings with the system, whereas 3 does. In other words, if you want different security settings than IE, you are better off using 2, although I hear there are ways around this.

Yeah i really do guess that Internet Explorer is just out of the browser battle.

Chrome has nifty features (comparable to opera) and safari looks sleek for designers.

    Firefox is customizable and stuff.

I like firefox 2 (most working addons.)

    Mozilla Firefox 3.5
    Internet Explorer 8
    Google Chrome

    Firefox is the best.
I love that it allows you to customize it and allow add-ons which makes browsing the web easier.
I just hate how much it eats up off the computer memory. :(

Why do you like Internet explorer 8?
I dont really like the colored tabs so i just turn them off.
And all versions of IE appear to be horribly slow and css bugged for me.

You can't really download FF 2 from their site anymore, so unless they kept it, it's harder to find it.

Ugh, IE 8 is disgusting :(. I have it on this computer, and it's slower than idk what could be slower :p

    I didn't read everything
But DUDE, bump Google Chrome up a few notches
IE sucks imo, and GC not only has the sleek design, but it is easy to get accustomed to, and has a top links page
And AdBlock has come out for Google Chrome

I am very disappointed to see no Opera either, that usually gets an honorable mention
And I believe you should try out Minefield, the MUCH faster comparison to FireFox
It's also in beta, and quite buggy unfortunately, but it is like FireFox and GC had a love child, and it is now learning to walk
