Okay we start first with the scammer's profile: - has 100+ avatars but no more than 200 [exceptions are rare] - no trophy [now they have about 2-3-4 trophies] - speaks n00bish or gibberish [rare cases] - has default avatar [also rare case] Spoiler Members who obviously know more than me can add other aspects Now about the tips on how to avoid getting scammed: - don't lend for free for those who request to - don't go to their userlookups if they ask to - don't listen to neomails stating to go to non-neopets . com sites - don't lend in multiple trades/auctions - don't "lend"/transfer your pets to unknown people on boards Spoiler I'm sure here there are more to add, but I don't want my computer to restart again and lose this topic a second time :tehe: Hope it helped, Fasty
Nice work, at least it is a start: ) i hate scammers(but i also strongly dislike noob resellers offering way too much discount LOL) But also someone who uses CGers ... Does anyone have any tips against CGers?
I thought most of that was common knowledge, but for instance say myself I have about 150 avatars no trophies to speak of at the moment and I talk like a bit of a noob just for fun, does that make me a scammer xP
Heheee, yes ^^ it's strictly prohibited. Also, I thought most/all of this guide was common knowledge. I mean, I wouldn't really call it a guide, but okay =P maybe some people don't know better..
