[GUIDE] Using Google To Get .MP3 Files

Intro

Do you want free .mp3 songs? But don't want the risk of Limewire? Simple, use google and find directories.

You need to be really specific with google, though.

The Codes

The overall code(of what you're googling) looks something like this:

1. YOUR.SONG intitle:"index.of" "parent directory" "size" "last modified" "description" [snd] (mp4|mp3|avi) -inurl:(jsp|php|html|aspx|htm|cf|shtml|lyrics|mp3s|mp3|index) -gallery -intitle:"last modified" -intitle:(intitle|mp3)

Let me break it down.

Code (Text):

1. YOUR.SONG

Here, you input your song. For best results, you should put periods instead of spaces in breaks. So instead of Never Gonna Give You Up you should put Never.Gonna.Give.You.Up; this way, it will search for those in that order, and not just "you give up never gonna" or something else along those lines. You can also put the musicians here. (i.e. Rick.Astley)

Code (Text):

1. intitle:"index.of" "parent directory" "size" "last modified" "description"

We want to search directories, so these key words must be there, as almost ALL directories have them. An example of a directory can be found here.

Code (Text):

1. [snd] (mp4|mp3|avi)

This part basically means that we want music codes. If you want just .mp3, take out avi and mp4. However, I'd recommend to keep them for maximum results.

Code (Text):

1.  -inurl:(jsp|php|html|aspx|htm|cf|shtml|lyrics|mp3s|mp3|index)

This is the ending of the page. Most sites do have them. For example, almost all sunnyneo pages end in .php. Most neopets pages end in or have .phtml in the url.

1. -gallery -intitle:"last modified" -intitle:(intitle|mp3)

No idea what this really means, but I'm sure it's important. Lol.

Saving

To save the files, simply right click on the link/song and choose "Save File As" or "Save Target As". Now you have the files to put on your iPod/iPhone/MP4 or whatever you have.

That's it. I hope you guys liked this simple yet effective guide to obtaining .mp3 songs. I use it a lot as I'm too lazy to convert youtube music videos to .mp3 and it's a lot safer than using something like LimeWire...grr for viruses!

g2p.org and type in the song name... it does exactly that about... and yes it does search a lot more places

 

You need to go to those sites. Then there should be a list of mp3s and whatnot.

Do a Ctrl + F to find it.

http://mp3.baidu.com/ is also a place to DL songs. It's a Chinese site, so most of the music is from China. However, some better known Western artists can be found as well.
