guilds?

Does anyone here do the whole guild thing? What are the pros and cons of it? And any reccomendations?

 

guilds are usually a place for chatting about different topics...

there are guilds about restocking, reselling, collecting, battledome, avatar and usually consist of msg boards on those topics with sometimes some fun events relating each topic

 

Guilds are just a fun community. You get to meet and make friends with a lot of new people so it might be good to get involved in one if you don't do much around Neopets.

Pros:
Make new friends
Let's you take a break from RSing and to just chat
Can help with quests, avatars, etc.
Giveaways

Cons:
Some guilds are "scammy" and will try to get neopoints and items out of you

 

Guild is where you can meet a lot of friends at,
and it's actually kinda cool if you are in a top position

 

guild are wasting time unless you really had nothing to do in neopets before new day coming maybe you can join other guild instead of create one....

 

In my opinion, if you like chatting to people and participating and all that stuff. Guild are for you.
But if you're like me, and you can't be bothered with things like that. I don't recommend it.
If I do join a guild, I hardly do anything to contribute to it. XD

 

I think it really varies guild to guild. If you're part of a great community with generous leaders, then guilds can be a lot of fun.

 

I use to have a guild way back when, and let me tell you honestly, for me, the time spent in maintainabce, recruitment and all of that, just wasn't worth it *at all*. What a schlep!

I hasten to add, I am not one who likes chatting and all that on neopets, so maybe that's where the problem came in. But make no mistake: it is *very* hard work, and it takes a LOT of time, especially initially. Added to that is the fact that most of the newer guilds are just scam fests, so it's very hard to get members... bleh. Maybe if you're *seriously* into the whole neofriend, let's chat online instead of make NP kind of thing, it might be worth it. Otherwise, I'd advice you to just join an existing guild.

i try making a guild, but no one joins cos they all already hav 1.

 

I love my current guild. its got loads of members, so you can chat and stuff. its really good.

 

hmm i tend o go for the guilds with 10 ish members and lots of prizes.
what can i say?
