    Mac OSX on a PC

I once had Kalyway 10.5.2 but my ATI card wasn't supported.
I than switched for a 10.5.5 release (can't remember the name) updated to 10.5.6.
They finally released drivers for my 4850 so everything was working (QE, multi monitor)

I tried installing IPC recently since I lost my disk for the 10.5.5 release but it's just not working on my PC.

I'll take a look at the 10.5.8 release.

    Nothing's virtual.
It install like windows, much like any OS.
No need to have windows installed anymore

How difficult would you say this is to do? My sister has a PC laptop and wants to me to hackintosh it but I'm not an expert at computer stuff. I'm pretty knowledgable and I can work from a guide pretty easily, but if it requires a ton of command line/hardware manipulation I'm not sure I could pull it off. Also, are there any guides you recommend or did you just sort of google a lot of resources?

why would you want to hackintosh it? wouldn't it be easier to just run linux if you don't like windows?
