so im setting up a website for a project for my criminology uni class.

i went to 000webhost because i heard they were the best free hosting.

i got an issue. this message keeps popping up and i cannot load anything untill i complete this. anyways here is the message:

Your domain is not yet pointing our server, so services such as FTP, Website Builder or File Manager may not work. You need to update nameservers to ns01.000webhost.com, ns02.000webhost.com for your domain. This warning will be removed once your domain will start resolving to our server (24-48 hours after the nameserver update)

firstly i regitered with them... and i dont know how to change my name server... any help is appreciated thanks.

If you have bought a domain(like a .com) you need to set it up.

Otherwise use their free subdomain and it should work

Hmm.. If you need to start a website. Like what you mention, you need to buy a domain for it. You can make it like (www.akstars.com) or something like that.

But I would say no to free hosting site. There's no guarantee of your work. You might lose all of it the next day you woke up.

I can suggest you doing it on Blogspot or some sites similar to it. =)
