I can' jailbreak my iphone with jailbreakme.com. It says my version is too new D; and I have tried going on that page so many times, it says the same.
I even googled it, no results.. :(

Downgrade your phones firmware to an older version. It'll work then :)

Okay , sorry for being annoying but I need to get this straight.
Will it hurt my phone? And can I "update" it again? Will I lose everything on it if I downgrade right now?

You can upgrade in the future yes, but the jailbreak will be lost.

Just wait for the newest version of the jailbreak to come out ;)

I was only offering the above as an alternative. I don't know what effects downgrading will have. I don't think you'd lose everything but because I'm not 100% sure don't listen to me.

Either wait for someone who has actually done it or just wait it out.

Okay, so you mean wait for jailbreakme.com to come out?
I'd rather be on the safe side (I am so paranoid)

About this jailbreak thing, can Apple (and whatever other companies involved) find out whether you've done it? Would anything bad happen if they did find out?

All your music on your phone will be gone if your "recover" your firmware to the older one. That's how you downgrade... you essentially recover to an older firmware... All your apps, pictures, and contacts should remain (at least mine did).. And once you jailbreak, upgrading to the newer firmwares will get rid of all the jailbroken stuff.

As long as you restore your phone before you take it in to the apple store, there is absolutely no way they can tell. I've been jailbraking my iphones since the day the 3g came out and have gotten many many many replacements since then. so as long as you aren't dumb, jailbraking is perfectly safe. As far as anything happening i guess if you didn't restore your phone and took it in it technically "voids" your warranty but they don't go into their files and make a note on your file, they just tell you that they cant fix it and send you on your way. So you just restore it and come back and badda bing badda boom.
