Big competition. Yet, none of them are alike!
Harry Potter is about wizards, goblins, muggels, demontars, witches
    while
Twilight is about vampires and werewolves.

Personally, Harry Potter is way better!

Harry Potter has a good plot, good writing, good movies, good actors and actresses who can actually act Funny

Twilight is bad, eh with the plot, terrible writing (i've heard), More than half the cast cannot act (with the exception of Taylor Lautner :] ), Not funny, Streched out.

And, in Harry Potter, the guys don't sparkel

I really like HP, while I didn't even see Twilight, so the answer is obvious for me :)

That's not even a fair comparison, you need to compare Harry Potter with something of equal worth and creativity, like Percy Jackson. Now there's a pair I have a hard time choosing between.
Twilight is junk, end of story.

This guy basically tells it how it is: Twilight wasn't really even written to be an epic novel, it was written to sell copies. You can't really compare the two.

Harry Potter definitely, you know why? there wasn't as much drama as Twilight which they focus on the progress of the plot.

Absolutely, Meyer saw an opening to brainwash all of the lovestruck preteens with more of the Sparkly Vampire Adventures and make more moola. And you wonder why teens now are rather dumb.
Also, not nitpicking, but not a guy. XD I'm female. XD

I would take Harry Potter anyday, but I found Harry Potter too contrived to get very involved in...unlike Lord of the Rings.

Harry Potter definitely has more depth and story. I think there are many people who could relate to the characters in Harry Potter and that's why it has more fans.

Harry Potter duh. But Twilight is good for a laugh. You can always make fun of their horrible acting skills and how Kristen always has her mouth hanging open :maha:

Harry Potter, of course. It's a meaningful, strong, clever story. Things that Twilight will never be.

Deffinitaly Harry Potter! By a long shot! I remember my friend got me to read Twilight years ago (before they even made the movie) and I got so frustrated and annoyed with Bella (who's IMO an unrealistic, selfish, and shallow, character) and the overly-predictible plot (oh no she secretly ran away to go save her mom who's kidnapped by the enemy... wonder how this will end :nope: ) that I shut the book and never went back. Harry Potter is a masterpiece! I'm definitely biased though, to each his own.
