I've been to LEC, Living Enrichment Center, and it's super haunted from my experience. There was this stretch of underground tunnel that I couldn't light my lighter in, my cigarette went out, and my phone backlight wouldn't work. D: It was scary. haha. I want to go back. Who else has been to a scary place and had a scary experience?
It wasn't abandoned, but I stayed in the Lizzie Borden house, in the very room where she ax-murdered her stepmother to death. Actually laid on the floor in the same spot where they found the corpse of the stepmother! It's claimed as one of the most haunted places in America-- The only real feeling you got was when you were trying to sleep and it really did feel like there was heaviness in the room--- like someone watching you. My cellphone didn't want to work right and neither did my mother's camera -- The owners said that's really common though apparently.
That's fucking epic. I have had a few super natural experiences. I love them, IMO. Super natural has always been of interest to me.
"Haunted" buildings are always an adventure... I remember couple years back going to an abandoned building; it's a lot more enjoyable when you bring spring paint as well.
I don't think so, I think once I had a deja vu experience on this once, but I was too young so I can't remember too clearly. :/ Does the haunted house at the amusement park count?
I love Ghost tours, so if I'm in a place with some history in October, I'll go on one or two. Because of that, I have been in a haunted courthouse (nothing happened except traffic court) and saw a haunted grave. Really interesting story with that one. Basically, one real piece of work (burned slave children alive type person) dies and is so evil, not even the earth will hide him. So after he is buried, his coffin is uncovered several times, all under very mysterious events. So, they move him to a cemetery and put the casket into a more sarcophagus like thing which to this day has some nasty cracks as if something is breaking out.
I once went to Ireland House, truly scary stuff happened there. Shadows of children, visions, heaviness, hearing footsteps. Even my house (the one i live in, and am typing this message to you) feels like that, except we made our house. too big for 4 people and theres so many dark places.... *chill*
jaylon_90: Noo! The way I see it when I go to an abandoned place is leave nothing and take nothing, and things shall stay as they were when I got there. That's just how I am. Jane: Those are always funn! hszmv: That is creeeeepy. I love that stuff. Valaris: That's pretty sketchh. Haha. And I LOVE your siggy. Transformers is the shit. You should see my room XD
well there is a logical explanation for some of those..when you enclose an area enough, there will be a significantly lesser amount of oxygen in the atmosphere and therefore your ciggies, lighters etc will go out and you will feel "weird" because of the lesser amount of oxygen yoiur body is getting.. i ever went outside a haunted mansion and my frens lit 3 ciggies and supposedly there is a way to see if the "thing" in there welcome us or not and my fren came to a conclusion that we were not welcomed at that point of time and we left..lame
Well, yeah. There's a lot of explanations for a lot of things. But why use them when you can scare the shit outta yourself?
there used to be an abandoned house near my house, on a street that adjoins my street to a main city street, and I had to walk by it every day on the way to highschool. I was so positive that it was haunted I always crossed the street, and after a windstorm one night, the shed door had broken the lock and when I saw the door swinging in the wind I BOLTED, because I could see something orange, and the only movie to ever actually scare me was IT. I'm not even afraid of clowns, just Tim Curry lol thankfully, the house was recently refurbished, they cut down all the spooky dead trees, got rid of the death shed, and turned it into a cosmetics shop. Except it's one that used to do Permanent Makeup, which might just be illegal in Canada? Because one day there were cops at the house and after that they took the ad for that feature down so that's my haunted house story lol. I'm very glad my family had our house built, I don't like living in other people's pasts
Yeah, there is this scary building in a forest near our town. You have to walk almost an hour to get to it.It's nothing special on the outside, but if you dare going into the basement you're gonna be scared. There is always a static noise and telephones never work.I only went there once, and I'll never go again.I'm such a coward haha.
One time I got stuck in this old, abandoned mansion. I wandered around the hallways for a while, but most of the doors where locked. Eventually though, I found my way into a room with a shotgun mounted on the wall, so I took it. But when I left, the doors in the next room locked, the ceiling descended and crushed me to death! But that might have been Resident Evil. I forget.
thedup: sketchh. haha. IT never scared me. idk why. i found it odly hilarious when i was little daniix: i love haunted places. they make my life complete. xDD
I've never really been sure why it affected me so much. I guess it's mainly the idea that he is the embodiment of fear itself and it's impossible to stop him. And Tim Curry is a damn good actor also read the book, one of my favourites. Much better than the movie as well
Yeah, I've been to one once. It was pretty creepy, swear to god it almost sounded like somebody was whispering in your ear when you were about to go to sleep. Although it wasn't abandoned, haunted none the less.
