Have you ever met someone you knew online? (accidentally) Like you said something about yourself and someone else posted back saying they knew you?
Yeah, I was gonna ask if it was embarrassing =O Cause I say some stuff about myself (not big stuff, just little stuff) that someone in my real life might recognize me =o
I've never encountered someone whom I've spoken to online. I'm not worried about it either, the chances of that happening is extremely slim.
I always end up seeing lots of people around my home town and at university who I recognise simply from their facebook profiles... I think thats kind of sad on my part lol
Its why I only show my picture to very few people, in case they know me, and I try to find out as much as I can before showing them it, just to be sure

Meeting people from video games and meeting people from forums are two different things. I can't imagine what a conversation would be like to a member of a forum. Person: So you're "Kittykitty1992" on neofriends.net? Person 2: Yup, which user are you? Person: I'm "Rxursocks07". Extremely awkward conversation if that were to ever happen.
I don't think you really have to worry about that here though, the active portion of the neofriends community is actually kinda small, so you probably don't know anyone here in real life.
yeah, i think meeting people you know from forums is the hardest thing almost impossible because its from people all over the world
It depends on your age. For some of us who are a bit older, it would be rather embarassing to be caught on a neopets community.
