    Well.
    I've started a 'diet'.
I'm exercising daily and eating healthy.
But I still get the usual cravings *sweet, salty, etc*
So what are some healthy snacks to help curb these cravings?

Soy Crisps are fantastic... they're in the health food section at my super market, sometimes sold in the bulk food section. I love them :D

Do they actually taste like soy?
    Or tofu or anything?

Eeeh no idea what soy tastes like... They have a really nice flavour to them. I actually prefer them over normal chips/crisps however they're a tad more expensive. Give them a go.. they're awesome!

That's the type I enjoy... There are other types that don't look as nice.

You can also find flavoured versions.. I prefer the original but there are some good flavoured ones.

Cut small sticks of cucumber and carrots and make a low-fat dip. Tastes awesome and is good for you :3
    An easy snack:
Cut apples into small pieces, put some cinnamon on them - put them in the microwave oven for a couple of minutes. It's also low on carb and tastes like candy.

I also eat frozen fruit. Raspberries, mango, pineapple etc. My sister told me that you could cut bananas in pieces and put them in the freezer , and it tastes like ice cream (I have yet to try this :p)

Anything frozen is good for me! Fruits especially.
You know the saying.. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper. It works for me.

My favs are apple with a little peanut butter (wont hurt), cold oatmeal with yogurt and fruits plus raisins :)

    Good luck on your diet!

If you have like a smoothie maker, give those a whirl.
Mango lassi is the best thing in the world, surprisingly filling too :D

Well, i don't know about the nutritional values, but they suffer in the taste department lol. Not really a big deal though.

Roasted soy beans are awesome snacks packed with proteins! Same with roasted beans of different kinds and there's even a thing called bean crisps that seem pretty neat.

Oatmeal bars low on sugar with nuts and fruits are also good and satisfying, especially those from the brand "nakd". They're mainly raw (which apparently is a good thing) and there's no extra sugar added but they're amazingly sweet and moist. My favourite is the Apple Pie one.

    Frozen berries are also great!

No, they're not. They're loaded with sodium and are highly processed. You can't go wrong with whole, unprocessed foods. Try cooking several servings of your healthy meals at once. That way you can split it up into containers/baggies and freeze/refrigerate them to eat later. That really comes in handy when you're feeling too lazy to cook.

I'm actually trying to get rid of a bit of chub and turn it into muscle.
I'm a good weight for my age, but I've got some places I'd like to tone up.
I've got the exercise down, I just needed a diet.

I buy a bunch of blueberries and snack on them whenever I want something sweet and crunchy. I love the texture of them and you can eat them mindlessly like you would with potato chips or chocolate.

I also like baby carrots, snap peas (crunchy like potato chips also!), oatmeal with a little honey mixed in, unbuttered popcorn, also idk if you'd like it but i looooooove boiled carrots they're rly sweet to me and probably my fav food.

I've never actually enjoyed vegetables on such a level :|
Broccoli is the only vegetable I can eat without any fuss haha.

OMG OMG OMG!! I SEE A GHOST!

    This gives me an idea!

As for toning up.. You can get those protein type shakes with different things in them.. With regular use (ensure you speak to someone and get the right one for your goal), plus exercise they do work. Some taste like crap though... so be prepared to throw some bananas or honey in with some ;) I finally found myself a yummy one.. I just don't use it anymore.

I am personally a big fan of baby carrots, which were mentioned.

I also enjoy making trail mix to munch on, though my version of trail mix includes: granola, lots of granola, almonds, and some dry fruit :3

I also enjoy munching on pretzels, and yogurt/chocolate covered pretzels aren't that bad and a few of those can diminish the craving for salty/sweet, which is something I personally greatly enjoy :D

Then I would also recommend apple chips :3

And apples w/ peanut butter <3 Mmm I am getting hungry lol
