[Help] Computer Not Identifying CD-ROM DRIVE

    Well, my computer is not recognizing the CD/DVD drive which is funny. Whenever I look it up on hardware and devices, it says that it has crashed or something with this little ! beside it.

    Anybody know how to fix this? I've tried some stuff on Google, but that doesn't help.

    It's a:

    Toshiba Satellite M40

    I think...

    Help?

    -Reinstall drivers if isn't a plug n play
    -check if its a master or slave
    -go into your bios and disable any ones your not using
