I was thinking about downloading one but I need to know a couple questions.

If I put like 10 minutes more time than I need to put would I get frozen?

Is it safe using an SS on a day like today where all the scores are reset?

I downloaded the public GM script that only does avatar games. But it's still pretty good, and it comes with preset random non-review values.

    ...Tiems CAN matter yes.

Some games base score on time.. for example, shootout showdown. If you send a 10minute score for a game that should take 7 seconds then you'd probably be setting off some alerts.

I suggest studying before doing any score sending. Use my guide if you're curious as to what a safe score/time combination would be. (link in siggy!)

As for doing it on reset night. Not riskier, aslong as you are smart and use good times/scores. (and don't go for a shitload so other people get jealous and report you:p)
