Can someone please advise me as to what is the safest way to sell a pet to someone? Do they bid on an item first and then you pound the pet or what??

I'm sorry, LOL, but I'm new here and don't know who to trust yet. I got scammed once out of a million NP and am a big chicken now, LOL

    THANKS!!

You put a rubbish item in your trades like Scrawnyfish, Pile of Dung, Bottle of Blue Sand, Tombola Keyring, etc.
You then PM the link to your trade and they offer you the amount of NP they bought the pet for.
You then sort out a time when the pet will be pounded so you can either be ready to adopt it or you can have an AutoAdopter running.
There is one here for 20 points and I recommend buying it.
    It works every time.

Note: It might be easier organizing everything on MSN rather than PM'ing each other.

Also, don't organize everything on the board where you bought it because it is considered spamming and people can steal the pet if they know the time it is being pounded at.

Thank you Barra! I kind of thought it worked like that but I wasn't positive. I just wanted to make sure me asking for the person to pay the np's before I pounded the pet was proper protocol. :)

quick note... if your dealing w/other users on the forum pay attention to rep and # of posts, low/no rep+low posts=sketchy

also if you outrank them in this forum then they go first

just so you get clarification that is good advise although you don't always go first if you are a lower rank just normally
and don't worry about being a chicken, i would be too if i had been scammed out of 1 mil

not points from this forum but neopoints
anyway if you meant the 20 points being refered to then that was meant to buy the autoadopter so you are far far far far far far more likely to get the pet you pound

selling a pet shouldnt be so hard now with the new rule. Anyway usually they give you the money first or else if they screw up the adoption they might get angry and refuse to pay and you end up losing the pet or they just adopted it with a side account

It's very possible to get frozen using any kind of auto adopter/buyer etc.

However, if you just keep it (the autoadopter) running for a short time, it's less likely. If the person kept it running for hours, your chances of being frozen go up ten fold.
