Right click my computer->properties->device manager->Click DVD/cd rom drives.. and with that model no displayed there google to find out whether it is a dual layer disc or not!!
Search (Bottom left) > Type in (Device Manager) > click Dvd/CD Drive - there it tells you the make and what it can burn. Like XXxXXXXx DVD RW DL ATA DEVICE
im also trying to use clonecd to burn iso files and the iso file isnt showing up when im browsing for the file to burn...
Use power iso, its much easier to use and i can guide you though it. Looking at that im pretty sure you do not have a Duel Layer Burner
damn i just checked my desktop and it doesnt say DL anywhere on the tray either im gonna have to get one put in now...how much would one cost to get?
If you don't feel like voiding the warranty on your computer (if you have a warranty still), you can buy an external burner..
Cheaper the better, DL disks are better when burnt at the lowest speeds, so budget models will do fine, i have a spare if you wanna swim to me.
ya ive already replaced a bunch of things, im going on year 3 with it, so my warranty is up already im looking at externals now, but im gonna see what the options are well i do enjoy swimming haha ill check out the options and see whats best thanks
nope, north american anyways turned out my dad just got an external dvd-r DL when he got his netbook since theres no cd drive in it, gonna test out burning with it now
