Just wondering what the most commonly used methods are. If you have a comment on why you prefer one method over another, or if your preferred method is not listed, post and share with us :D

A short explanation of the methods, look to transferring guides for in-depth how-tos.

    Overprice junk in shops:
Self-explanatory. One user puts Pile of Dung, Bit of Barbed Wire, etc. for 100k, 60k, etc. The user buys it.

    Snipe expensive items from shops:
Self-explanatory. One user puts Baby PB, Cactopus Cream, etc. for 1np or something vastly below what the item is worth. The other user buys it.

    Auction expensive item for low:
Self-explanatory. One user puts GBomb, SoS, etc. in auctions for 1np or something vastly below what the item is worth. The other user bids and wins the auction, either because it is NF only or because the min. bid increment is very large.

    Auction junk for high:
Self-explanatory. One user puts Pile of Dung, etc. in auctions for 10m or something ridiculously higher than what the item is worth. The other user bids and wins the auction.

    Petpet and pound:
One user attaches an expensive petpet such as Meowclops, Kadoatie, etc. to a badly named basic-color pet. After pounding the pet, the other user adopts it and sells the petpet.

    Trade junk for high:
Self-explanatory. One user puts Pile of Dung, etc. in trades, the other user bids 800k or something ridiculously higher than what the item is worth.

    Trade expensive stuff for low:
Self-explanatory. One user puts GBomb, etc. in trades, the other user bids 1np or something much less than what the item is worth.

    'Accidental' trade acceptance:
One user puts GBomb, etc. in trades, the other user bids junk, the first user pretends to accidentally accept the bid. The first user will 'panic' and beg the second user for their item back.

    Send to a Neofriend:
Self-explanatory. Just send an item over to another account.

I usually just overprice junk in shops because I find it to be the easiest way to transfer, especially since I liquidate all items to np on my illegit accounts before transferring.

I just hop on my phone and buy the item then immediately after I clear my sales history and take the np out of the till. And I always pretend in the shop description to have some kind of donation fund thing in my shop for like a "paint brush" or something. So I'll always have a couple of junk items priced highly. (Not that that probably makes it any more convincing haha)

Does the accidental trade option ever work? Like would NP buy the whole "panic" email?

I do a mixture of random items all with the same Name like (Key) in the word via my shops for half and then i'll get some retired junk and put that on tp Also.. I do a mixture of all sorts really..

Its worked fine for me So far..

I also take the np out straight away and bank it and clear my sales history.

Not sure how much they'd buy it; I mean it does actually happen, though not with that much frequency. I guess the point is to just get your account overlooked. (And the past times I've done that it's usually been when I'm MMing for 10mil+ HT items, and the users [and my shell =p] involved haven't gotten frozen from that.)

Personally, what I tend to do is pool NPs off shells I don't care about through trades (since it's fastest, if not that safe), then self freeze those shells. I use those NPs to buy high end items which I think "snipe" on over; an extra pure left over I'll do through shops. The shells/accounts I don't care about usually get frozen, either by TNT or me self freezing, but I have yet to lose an item/account that actually matters to me. (e.g. the final one the item(s) are being stored on)

i do a mixture of everything actually..

to start a new account off for ABing, i transfer say a total of 100++ through shops by pricing junks for random amount over 60k and then i'll use another shell which have pure to buy the item in the new account..

as for the shell that has the pure, i'll transfer using the TP. overpay for a item that i am selling on my main..

i have a guide (or sort of a guide :p) in the guides section on how i do my xfering..

I always do shops or trading post. And, when I do trading post, I never bid the max amount. Same goes with shops, rather than 99,999, I may go 90k-80k. I dont know why I do that actually, just really paranoid.

shop transfer is what i usually do, when i sell proxies for np about 150k each. i would set two items to 75k or change the accordingly and do that. i think its the safest for me.

Well I won't vote since I use many methods.

For ETS items, I usually just sen them to neofriend (if I feel it's needed, I'll write a short congratulatory neomail too)

For transferring of NPs, I use the trading post by bidding NPs on junk when I'm lazy. When I feel that I have more time, I use usershops, buying junk for like, 99999NPs

However, when transferring to my main, I use this method:
    1. Account with NPs/ets (I never transfer HTS) buys an ets item worth a little more than what's needed to be transferred. Let's say I want to transfer 1m, I might buy a FQD or 2 baby PBs
    2. Account that is supposed to recieve offers ridiculous reseller offer on ets, and after 'haggling' for a while, decide on a price (which is still very low) to buy the ETS.
    3. Account recieves the ets and sells them. And is thus happy with extra NPs

Oh yes, never ever transfer via auctions where everyone can see the amount of NPs pure transferring, the account you're transferring from, and the account you're transferring to. This is suicide.

I used to transfer via the trade-junk-in-TP method, but then I found out that it's too risky! I'm lucky that haven't been frozen yet because I've done it wayyyy too many times with really expensive items...

I usually do the "Quitting Neofriend" one.
    Like:

Person A = Acct with illegit NPs
Person B = acct to transfer the NPs to-

Person B will make a "chatting" board.
Person A will post and chat with B.
Person B will ask if person b can be NFs with person a.
    Person A waits 5 mins
    Person B lurks other boards
Person A says shes quitting and don't wanna come back to neo anymore and is giving NPs to person B.

that's what I use. sometimes, I convert the NPs to ETS. ^^
Though you should let the NPs sit on the account where you SS'ed or AB'ed with for a while. xD

I usually just do junk trades, or just keep the nps there and if I needed anything, I'll use those money to buy, and trade transfer to whatever account I needed the item for xD

Is there any problem with just sending items over? o_0

Posting on boards and stuff seems to attract more attention?
