to block access to an inactive account? (sorry this didn't fit in the title).

I have a few shells which I haven't logged on to since I made them, and they actually survived 2 chain ices. I just wanted to know whether I should stay off of them, or log on to them every few months just to make sure they don't get iced. But then again, I don't want TNT knowing that it's me who's on the accounts. Mmmmm.

tnt deletes the accounts every 3-4 years so you're safe

I really doubt that TNT deletes accounts if they're inactive for a certain amount of time. I was inactive on mine for 6 years and I was able to log unto it a couple of months ago.

I have a 5 year in active account and it's still sitting there looking great.

Have you tried asking for birthday cracking if you need it?

Yeah, my friend recently got into his 7 1/2 year account. I think he'd been active for, atleast 6 years, most likely 7. We only had a problem with the birthday, but that was sorted out. Everything had been cleared out though besides from the pets, so either he was hacked during that time or... :arf: I don't know...

Mine from around that period seem to have vanished though.

I'm name stalking a LOT of names so some certain amount of time that they delete accounts would come in handy but I guess they just do it as they see fit?

I read that editorial too. But there's alot of really fantastic names that haven't been logged into for a verrrry long time which haven't been deleted. I think they probably delete old accounts that haven't been logged into since the day they were created.
