How much until someone's considered 'rich' on Neo?

It's always been in the back of my mind and the topic never gets old for me.

For me, I consider people who have about 200mil to be relatively rich.

So! What about you lot?

 

Yeah sounds about right. Depends where abouts on neopets you are. If your on trade chat its like 1mil and ur rich if your in the BD its 100mil + to be ok.

Weirdly enough, I never thought about it that way. But it makes perfect sense. Heh. I always thought 'rich' in BD was a bit more than 100mil, though. Then again, I haven't visited it in a while so I'm not too sure. P:

Yes jhudoras wand or illusions staff. You can restock and get that much resell whatever really. With patience, you could lay games and get that much.

From restocking you could do it with 4 t-tear stocks. And you could prob rs alot of mp's and potion between those stocks.

With dedication and skill it is not as hard as it sounds.

 

1-5mill = Beginner
5-15mill = Moderate
15-30mill = Getting Better
50mill = Good amount to have if you've been playing for a while
50mill-100mill = Rich
100mill-200mill = More Rich
200-500mill = Super rich

 

Illusen's Staff is worth ~230 mil, last time I checked. Though of course the original investment would take quite a chunk to start off with....then again, it'd be great for people with r99 galleries.

 

istaff and jwand have deflated considerably in the past year or two. They used to be in the 600-700 mil range since only a few were in existence.

Since then though a lot of people had near complete galleries which of course led to the deflation. :/

 

Interesting question, and I think it reall just depends on how much you have yourself. When I was a kid I would think 100k meant you were rich. I was only allowed on the computer for short periods of time, and didn't spend it all playing games, so I never knew how people got so much. Then, when I started playing again when I was older and only played a few games I thought 1 mill was really good. After i got more se to playing, I realized how easy 1mil really was if you tried, so I started to consider people with Krawks and Draiks rich. Now I'd consider anyone with 50mil as rich.

 

Lol Jwand has never been near 600-700mil.

However, wand of the dark faerie has been up there with istaff in the 600-700 mill.

Jwand is maybe ~100mill.


And 'rich' depends on the perspective.

For a newbie, 50k.
For a help chatter, 500k.
For an acer, 1.5mil.
For a bder, 150m.

You'd be surprised how much time people can make if they really want to, and I guess those who do earn that much really want to. Either that or they just find making money hella fun. P:
