If you have proof that this person wants your pet or your side account (e.g. she has expressed this in a neomail), it's a case of harassment. Simply report her to Neopets = problem solved. That aside, how frequently you change your password has very little impact on how easy it is to guess your password. Changing your password every week is excessive. Once every three-six months is enough. The important thing is to come up with a password that's hard to guess (or cracked by a brute force attack). In general, pick a password that contain ALL of the following: - 7-15 characters - a mix of upper-case and lower-case letters - numbers - symbols (@#$%^&*(){?/, etc.) Your Neopets password should not be the same as any password that you use anywhere else. It should not contain any reference easily linked to you (your name, your username, your birthdate, your pet's name, your hobbies... anything this girl might know or find out about you). Also, make sure to use a strong password for the e-mail address you use on your Neopets account as well.
report him, change ur password often and remember to pin your account even if he get in, he cant do anything about it
I also had reported the person who was harassing me I use pins on all of my accounts and I don't use hotmail or yahoo

*cough* sorry I am typing on my iPod touch it does that sometimes *cry* the person already knows my main account name so I guess it's okay to Put my account names on my side account look up's lol one of her accounts got frozen for cheating lmbo she had admitted it to my cousin on her new account lol
Then what are you afraid of? As long as you aren't giving your password out to people you should have absolutely nothing to worry about. Let other people be jealous of your pets all they want. If they are sending you messages that you don't care to get or read then report them and block them.
You don't had to worry if you did'nt give any1 your pw. I don't change PW often as i tend to 4get it if i change them too many times. And also use a strong pw with lower and upper case + numbers.
Change it if you think the security has been compromised. I had to change all of my passwords recently because my Gaia online account password was cracked by some one.
I haven't changed mine in years. I've never had trouble with people on neopets, so I never feared for my account or anything on it.
