    Overview
The new reputation system can be used to credit a user of the site upon a succesful trade, a contribution to the site or anything that helped you out. On your profile, the last 5 reputation feedbacks you have received are displayed for other users to see.
A users reputation can be used as a measure of how trustworthy they are, and how much they have helped other users.
Green or red blocks are displayed next to a users posts based on how much reputation they have received. Currently, for each 25 reputation points received you receive, you will get one extra block next to your post. So if you have just over 50 rep points, you will have 2 green blocks. You can have a maximum of 10 blocks.

    How it works
Each user has a 'reputation power', which determines how many reputation points they can give to another user. As a new user, you start of with 0 rep power, and then receive 1 rep power when you reach 50 forum posts. After that, you can receive 1 reputation power for each 400 posts or for each year you have been a member of the site. The maximum reputation power which you can have is 5. This means if you have 1 rep power, and you leave positive reputation for another user, they will be given +1 rep points. If you have 5 rep power, they will be given +5 rep points. You can also leave reputation if you have 0 rep power, however the other user will not receive any rep points - but your comment will still show up on their profile.

You can view a users reputation either at the side of one of their posts, or in their profile. You can only give (or remove) reputation from another user based on one of their posts.

To give positive or negative reputation to a user, you can use the buttons underneath their rep score at the side of one of their posts:
    [IMG] and [IMG]

    Limitations
You cannot give or remove reputation to the same user twice in a row - you need to give reputation to 5 other users before you can give reputation to the same user again.
You can only give/remove reputation once every 6 hours. This is so that people don't give reputation too frequently - it should only be given when another user deserves it.

Note that these limits do not apply to Level Vs and Moderators.
