Does anyone know the exact procedures to launch an e-commerce website? I came up with a concept (that I won't mention) but I have no idea how to go about it.. all I know is it's going to take a lot of money and time.. any ideas?

You're going to need the scripts and such for the website. You'll have to write it yourself, hire someone to do it for you, or buy/acquire for free a 'turnkey' script for an e-commerce websiet. For hosting, maybe a paid host would be best as they generally offer better services. You're also going to need to buy a domain name. It probably wont cost as much as you think ^_^
My cousins made the website for their school, and they showed me some of it too. They did everything themselves (the school paid for everythin of course) They did everything using HTML, Java, and some web designing programs.
