I'm getting back into neopets again, it's been a few months, but unfortunately I don't remember the birthday to one of my sides, and it contains a few pets that I consider somewhat valuable (or atleast to me) Is there any easy way to retrieve my "birthday"?
thanks for the help in advance.

As far as I know-- No.
If you know the password, you can only guess at what birthday you put in and you can only guess, I believe 3 times a day, before it's locked out.

I have an extremely old account I'd like to use however, I have the same issue, I have no idea what bday I put in there.
Good luck, I hope you figure it out!

if you have yourself added a neofriend you can find your age, and that narrows down the guesses...or else wait until you see the age change and find it out that way

In other words there is no "easy" way. Oh well, it was worth a shot right? I know the the year I had entered. I guess I'll just have to be pacient, and keep on guessing. I could have sworn I used my actual birthdate when I made that account, but I guess I was wrong!
Thanks for the help anyways! It is very appreciated!

Do you have enough information? Activation code, etc? To prove the account is yours? Provide your IP address to them, etc etc.
That's the only way you get "forgotten birthday" accounts. Usually they won't just give it back :p

How? If you read that editorial I did the same thing and neopets emailed me back saying just make a new account, we can't help you. I'm pretty sure this is something I could sue about but it wouldn't worth the trouble >.>

I think it also depends on the age of your account and how long it's been inactive. Kit said it was only a few months since she used hers, so her info was still in TNT's systems. After so long, like a year or two, they say that account information gets wiped from their database so they have no way of retrieving it (I still think it's BS) so they can't help you. How long was your account inactive?

    What location? ;o
^ Technically I don't think that's the case, because if it tells you that your password is wrong / an incorrect birthdate is entered, it means that they must know what the correct password / birthdate is DD:

I was under the impression that if you get the password right, you don't actually have to enter the b-day... So if it prompted you asking for the b-day, you're most likely entering the wrong password... No? Maybe that'll be easier to find out than the birthday.

    I stand corrected.

Yeah I tried e-mailing them with just basic info but they gave me the ol' "oh this can't be retrieved, its too old" BS.

So I e-mailed someone else with hardcore proof, hopefully they'll drop the smoke and mirrors act and "magically" find the birthday to my supposedly inactive account :nope:

And if they don't then I'm getting revenge by ilegit playing :maha:

You know what I think? It's not that they can't retrieve your account because it was inactive for too long, it just that clearly, Neopets Team does not give a rat's ass about any of us. They care about making their money and that's it. Plus, most of the time they're just too lazy to. Lol.
