not quite satisfied with how it turned out.. first time actually drawing something by hand and colouring it on the comp
i know i should, i just dont know how to still new at this x.x using photoshop 7.. how can i draw the places i want to shade accurately?
thanks. theyre my pets on my main i meant to draw the lenny knocking on the baby pteri, but it just looks like she's shaking her fist :?
nope, it was hand-drawn. pretty bad for a hand-drawn one eh? but i think i messed it up when i came to the colouring...
thats what i did, took it from the original. i messed up because i didnt put the shading on the pets, and their shadows on the ground... because i didnt know how to x.x
if you cut the pets out and separate them from the background, you can double click the layer and go to drop shadow and go from there. for shading, you can use the burn tool on a low number like 4% to acheive this: pick a side where the sun is coming from, and then shade what wouldnt get light from it
there.. i think its better 8) ..might have used TOO much of the burn tool though. thanks a lot, that really helped! +rep
That looks a lot better. I'm no expert at shading graphics or anything, but what helps me shade on paper is focusing one where the light is coming from and how it would affect the picture. I think you do an okay job at it though.
Thats wicked good, I remember my drawing of a Faerie Krawk, I didn't colour it in but I should have, yours is amazing
