So after spending about 30k to beat the Meerca Henchmen, I discover that you have to be on that specific Defenders of Neopia quest to receive the avatar.

Not like 30k is such a huge amount, but it's still irritating.

Anyone else done anything stupid like that?

 

everyone does stupid things so yea of course i have done dumb things but as far as neo related ones ive not done any in a long time

i once thought plushie starry paintbrush would make your pet starry and plushie....

 

I've done Shop Wiz searching for Map Map pieces, saw a few for 15-20k and bought them all. Thinking they'd go for 50+. -.-

One time y 17 year old cousin was playing on my 5 year old little sisters Webkinz account and 99 Kinzcash Candycanes were only for christmas, and he bought 100s! To re-sell them for a profit because they were limited edition and they sold for 97 kinzcash

 

Once I offered 560k for a baby paint brush plushie... i read 'plushie' the second i had clicked ok on the offer page and was fast enough to withdraw before they accepted... I would have died if they did...

 

I fed my pet a TP instead of 'used' it XD

 

i haven't made any dumb neopets mistakes sinse my n00b days but i make dumb real life mistakes on a daily (hourly is probably more accuarate tbh) basis ha

One time i was at the job agency and i looked at a job but didnt start it yet. i bought all the required items without realizing i didnt start the job. i wasted about 80k on those items lol... those happened during my noob days tho lol..

 

I did that actually on my last account. I never did get the avatar though because I never did get meuka as a challenger.

back then i bought Ornate Maractite Dagger which cost 100k back then but which are about only 10k now so instead of keeping the dagger i bought the Jetsam Mutant Morphing Potion.

 

SAME THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME

i just tried 38329 times to beat them;

I FINALLY defeated them;;

but never got the avatar, because i realized that I had to beat the challengers BEFORE the henchmen too...

so i need to beat them all over again XD

 

Eheh, me too tried a lot of times... and spent a lot more than you =P
I always forgot to do something... like restabilish total HP, buy muffins etc... and every few times, the Ice weapon broke =__=
