I have a question FOLKS!!...

Umm...It has been like a day and it still says i exceeded the thingy on points...Do they say a day meaning the last post u made that received 40?Or when u just started?? Cuz if they say a day meaning the last post i made that received 40...Im gonna have to wait a while

Not exactly sure how it works, sorry. YOu can get 40 points every 12 hours. I'd guess that when you get your first point, 12 hours after that, the first one is cancelled out, and you can get another one in its place.

Don't worry about points. If you're active, helpful and nice, you'll get enough to buy what you want

 

as more and more people join...it's neccesary to increase the difficulty of earning point...inflation of a sort...

This is nothing like inflation. This is more along the lines of keeping the forums more active by offering people things for posting.

i dont like the new post system.. all the new users just spam like hell to get their 40 posts/points...

 

yes, there is some spam but by the same token there are a lot of people trying to get the points who actually put some thought into the post they are adding to the boards

 

my last 30 or so posts have recieved no points

If you posted in sections that add no points, that might be the cause. Even though they add no points, it's still a post. So it subtracts the amount of posts left to get points for. At least this is my guess.

 

Well...u kinda on the right track but let me say this again Lets say i started my first post that = 1 point. 12 hours later im finished with all my points so now i guess i have 40. Expon says u can gain 40 points every 24 hours...Does that mean the 24 hours starts when u ended ur points gained or in the beggining it starts the 24 hour point thingy

 

Just wait 24 hours and see if it still refuses to give you points. If so, PM expon asking for help. The same thing happened to me.

I wonder if you post more if it adversly effects your points? I post a lot and I don't always get points but I think I am not getting as many points than if I actually planned it out
